RPG Maker XP problem.

Run RMXP as an administrator; It'll shit bricks otherwise. You can't even test play a game without admin access. They completely botched making RMXP follow security procedures on Vista/Windows 7.
I have no problems running RMXP on Windows 7 and I don't run as administrator.

And where the heck does your act 3 download lead to? I tried downloading and couldn't That download site is awful. Just submit it here for real.
A combination of places, but most of the traffic is on the official site. I've been trying to upload here for the past few days, but every time I try, I get a time out error. =x I do have another mirror now though:

Might it be an issue with Chrome? I tried uploading another file. No matter how many times I try, it never makes it past 4% before resetting to 0%.

Yup. The game's now fully complete. I'll warn you that Act I is kind of dated in comparison to the other two, but it's not that long.

Has anyone been having trouble uploading? I keep getting a server not responding error a couple minutes after I try to submit a download.

Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention

Just started playing this game, and I like it already... some odd mapping errors (not huge ones, mind). I did manage to walk through a table, and one of the cave doors seemed too low, along with the caves ignoring the 3-tile rule, but still enjoying this game. Would like to see actual door animations in the third game. Not got onto the second act yet, still near the beginning.
I love the soundtrack by the way. Tarrannon has done a good job on this IMO.
BTW can saves be important between each act, so I can keep the character data?
EDIT: Noticed one or two tracks don't exactly loop perfectly... but again, not really that bad... still a bit noticeable.
I'm glad you're enjoying Act I so far. Act II is such an improvement over the original that even looking at Act I embarrasses me, to be honest. ^^; I really hope you choose to continue playing, as I promise it gets much better when you get to Act II.
In Act I, we were all working on a game for the first time and didn't really know what we were doing. When we started Act II, though, we had learned from our mistakes and had gotten into the rhythm. Character art, gameplay, story, and music all improve by leaps and bounds.
And yes, saves can and should be imported between acts. Make sure to wait until after the credits at the end, since that's when you get the chance to save your completed game.

So Compassion is the opposite of luck? That's sort of depressing.
There's no real meaning behind the positioning of the stats. I just didn't want all the ones which started with C to be contiguous.
