SAILERIUS'S PROFILE
Something happened to me last night when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky. It was moving irregularly. Suddenly, there was intense light all around. And when I came to, I was home.

author=Corfaisusauthor=DanPlanetTerraWhy'd they use two different accounts to get backing for the same project (that is, unless Kickstarter has rules against such things which should raise eyebrows, anyway)?
So that when you click on YDS's profile from the new one, you wouldn't see that there was a previous Kickstarter for the same game.

Thanks, everyone! I've been crunching for VSA this week and so haven't had a chance to do any leisurely art but I'm hoping to get back to it soon. I picked up some good tips from Perihelion on how to improve the jacket so I'm probably going to revisit it next.

You'd be surprised. FFXIII is what got a LOT of people into JRPGs, especially with it being the first to release on Xbox. It had the effect on a new generation of gamers that FFVII had on the PSX generation.

Thanks!
I actually haven't decided yet. The clothes probably aren't going to be hyper-stylized since I'm not really good enough as an artist to do stylization well, so I'll probably make it fairly realistic. The only thing I really took liberties with were on facial proportions, since exactly realistic ones put you into the uncanny valley.

While I'm mostly a programmer, occasionally I do art, mostly 3D stuff. I randomly decided to start sculpting a cyberpunk character this weekend. It's my first foray into hard surface modeling and it's going fairly decently.
Ignore the hair; it's mostly a placeholder since a lot of it is going to be covered up. I started with the jaw piece and learned a lot from it, such as proper use of the transpose line, which is why the rest of it looks much better. I might want to revisit the mandible later now that I've improved so much.
The headset is about 5.5 million polygons presently.
Last night I started on the clothes. So far I've only got a start on the jacket:
Turntable:
The jacket is roughly 650,000 polygons and still needs a bit more detail, such as the zippers and ribbing on the collar and cuffs.
