Something happened to me last night when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky. It was moving irregularly. Suddenly, there was intense light all around. And when I came to, I was home.

What do you think happened to me?

Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention

They're different story routes. Which route you're on depends on which ending you get in Act II+.

Vacant Sky Awakening: Paradox Prince

Yep! Awakening is about the villain and their childhood, and what leads to the terrible events described in Contention.

Vacant Sky Awakening: Paradox Prince

Nope, they've been obsoleted.

Thanks much! I'm still tweaking the lighting a lot. It's quite difficult lighting a place entirely with candles and getting it to not be too dim.

The key to beating the Nyx is to take them out one at a time, while trying to keep both Paine ( Pat+Laine XD ) alive and to build Laine's Rage meter so she can use Sure Strike ( it's normally an instant KO for one Nyx ).

Otherwise, they will make life difficult with Meditation ( raises one of their maxHP by 150%, all bosses have this skill ) and keep Pat's DEF up with Fortitude ( since Vampirism will deal less damage to him that way ).

How exactly do you build the Rage meter? I've noticed it going up but haven't picked out what cause it or what it does.

Zero Suit Samus

I don't think anyone here is negatively reacting to Samus. They're negatively reacting to Nintendo's disgusting degradation of her character.

Zero Suit Samus

author=It's hard to say that this is the designers' intent, I mean, I can't read their minds.

No, it's not. You can read the designers' intent by looking at her costume, her proportions, her poses, and her animations. They make it unambiguous what the designers' intentions are. There is no other way to interpret it.

author=I hate it when anyone, male or female or anything in between, is being thought of or treated differently because of their appearance,

Samus is not a human being. She is a character, designed by people. She did not "choose" to be a sex object because she has no agency. She was designed that way.

Zero Suit Samus

The problem isn't the design itself but that Nintendo chooses to use it in a way that makes her into nothing more than a sex object. Look at every screenshot just posted; she is constantly contorting in such a way as to show off her enormous breasts in every single promotional image.

By presenting her in this way, Nintendo implores us not to take her seriously as a character but to ogle her as a sex object.

But I guess when your console is bleeding money as fast and hard as the WiiU, falling back on the old adage that sex sells is a pretty safe bet to try to stop hemorrhaging relevance.
