Side View Battle in VX Ace?
Kread's animated battlers is great! Does anyone know if there are there any plans to make a sister script for weapons so that players can see their new swords/ guns/ staffs equipped in battle? I don't know much about scripting but I guess it would work on the same principles, tags within the weapon telling it which animation to play for each state and the anim just being over layed onto the battler.

When is a release likely, even if just of the template without all of the remade characters? I'd love to use this style in my game.
We Need A New Anime To Watch. Suggestions?
Thank you for all of the suggestions. We decided to start with Sword Art Online and we're loving it so far - exactly what we needed! Got a lot of things we could potentially watch afterwards too from your replies.
That one thing....
I know your pain buddy, we are constantly using our overdraft! That one thing, huh? Dunno, right now, I guess it'd be a PS4 - but Watch Dogs got delayed and Kingdom Hearts 3 has no release date yet... That one thing would probably be enough money, from say a lottery win, that I could cut my work hours to part time and focus more on my hobbies and spend more time with my family.
[Poll] What do you think about multiple endings?
The importance of multiple endings is closely linked to the importance of choice in some video games, especially an RPG. Role Playing Game, that implies that you should get to make choices and that those choices should impact the world you inhabit. It could alter not only the ending but also the course of events leading up to the ending.
Obviously, this won't fit every RPG, in some games your character is set and you're more or less "watching" them, but in others, the characters have room for you to make your mark on them. Some games so to the extreme and you get entirely different towns and dungeons based on your decisions, different characters live and die, and you get drastically different endings. Those endings suit your choices and you get a sense of ownership and responsibility (of course, it's also a lot easier to disappoint a player if you screw the ending up and don't meet their expectations).
Some games don't need choice or multiple endings (Sonic or Mario), but others do (Mass Effect, though it royally fucked it up). You should know when developing a game whether you need multiple endings and whether you're doing it right.

We Need A New Anime To Watch. Suggestions?
Saw Elfen Lied about a year ago. It was pretty intense at times and Lucy creeped the crap out of me, we enjoyed it. I'll take a look at Record of Lodoss War.
