Sad thing is someone made a Dragon Fantasy shit game for PSN.... after you made yours. I played your original game and it was a lot of fun, but I worry remaking it would take away from the charm.

Wow Kotaku covered this? I remember someone quoting the official website saying you can't use RTP for paid releases. They've licensed the art, but that doesn't mean they were licensed to you. There are art houses in Korea that will do new sprites, tilesets and characters for $5,000 or 50% of your gross income. But I see you already have a team of people.

Never made the game in almost 21+ months. Still owes me money :-) 2 of my screenshots are still on the main kickstarter page. Since then the game has switched engines and graphics.
I have a feeling the average kickstarter user doesn't know what RPG Maker is. If anything, Kickstarter is some extra publicity even if it doesn't meet its goal.
