Community Contest: Map and you could win $25 and other prizes
I don't see Craze as rude. I see the contest / marketing as rude even being here. Perhaps if this company offered a bigger prize or actually had a reputation around here.
I could offer $25 of my own money through paypal and I'm not a company. Companies can afford more.

Thanks for commenting back. I did try. I really don't even play RPGs... I just got bored and you were the one asking for beedback :-) I didn't even look at screenshots.
It is possible by dumb luck to beat the guy :-) Maybe not lower it... but give the player a high potion or something.

FIERY NOTES:
- I'd like to see a better title menu. There's nothing wrong with your title image, but I think the menu could be cooler.
- Good music right off the bat.
- Jump right into the action, which I can see as a good thing.
- The bridge looks vast and empty. Make the bridge less wide and put some clutter or railings on it.
- The healer should want to heal the man at the bridge... how long does magic take? :-)
- A lot of our friends are dead. She should specify the most important few.
- The swords on the ground should be an event... like I can't weild this or its broken or covered in blood or this was John's sword.
- Good menu. Very nice.
- This might be dumb... but one of the survivors should say here use a potion to keep yourself alive, it worked for me...
- Fire should hurt you bumping into it. Coupled with the text... ah that fire hurts or something like that.
- Moving fires would be good. Maybe a red hue to the burning down. Dark is good for the rain though.
- Overall the town is a nice little map.
- Good music I think it said by Diego. It's all good and notable.
- Really nice intermingling between the credits and the end of the first true scene.
- Interactivity with the buckets would be nice like... uggg this bucket stinks from use.
- Do characters have last names? I feel the need to ask that about every RPG character :-)
- You should be encouraged to escape... because the 'king's' pet monsters guard the area.
- Shawn was talking about how crazy she is to say the guards encourage escape then she's talking how crazy he is for going to escape.
- You might want to actually animate a guard shift change complete with the teleport... just so it looks cool.
- I like how you just know they're psychotic killers. Why not... this man is asleep, he looks like a psychotic killer clutching a doll and a knife and giggling...
- Food should get sent down or the man who was there for 68 years is the man that magically conjures the food.
- Perhaps you can find food or an item someone has hidden.
- Logic would dictate you can gather a party of 3 other badasses to escape... Safety in numbers.
- The guards kill you for taking a sword. You can just have Shawn say... I didn't know. Then the guard says, next time you try to take it that will be death for you! Instead of killing the player.
- I just realized that you might want to start the prison stripped of your weapon... but then that old man has a sword.
- Shawn has been working his whole life, but he doesn't know what's up there... he should be like... how bad could it be? Nothing could be worse than that Snarlax... then later he can say that's much worse than the Snarlax... but at least it smells better.
- Very harsh lava pit from the dungeon. If anything the staircase should go down to the lavapit then up from there.
- Nice jumping events. I feel they should probably disappear when they're down from jumping. Kind of like they jump out of the lava and not on it.
- Your lava waterfalls need the animations.
- Ha the crystal ball ran out of energy. There goes my strategy.
- Nice touch having the flame turn into a dead flame afterward. It should go back to a living flame after 10 seconds or so.
- You can also use the light script to light up the lava here and there. Not all of the lava of course.
- Crazy music on the skeleton floor. Not a fan of how it starts out. The rest is good / great.
- LOL I probably have time to move before he attacks... then it says he's waiting. Oye.
- Guarding the attack doesn't work. Beat him on try 4. I feel like dumb luck was the only way I prevailed.
- Do you really cast war cry? Should roar really be cast?
- Cave bats should not be plural.
- In all level to level I think there should be more enemy diversity. The battles are the same but change from floor to floor.
- This map is unreadable... but when I look at the bones and helmet it says nothing. Interactivity.
- How about a puzzle between floors?
- I feel the game needs an ice scroll to help battle flow to take out the fire elementals.
- Maybe a smoke bomb to blind the heavy hitting orcs. Just findables would be fun :-)
- Perhaps a buffing potion or a debuffing potion against enemies? I guess I just don't want to be stuck using the same tactics in the same battles.
- Maybe a fire coat? I think you're missing the fact that RPGs are about Loot even if you're stuck in a madman's dungeon.
- The challenge > fun ratio of floor 3 makes me quit.

Teamwork Simulation
If you want to be a captain, I'll donate a bunch of RPG maps enough for a game... then you take it upon yourself to find someone to make the music, make the enemies and do the tileset to switch out the default.
Teamwork Simulation
Go for a 5 - 10 hour game in a month like Prexus says. Personally I'd just make dungeons then tack on a story to it. Your next project can have some epic story.

Oh wait its been 3 projects worked out successfully one of those projects was some game in Korea made with RPG maker. I was told that I was one of 2 mappers, there was an art house in Korea hired to do graphics and like 5 Korean composers. This seemed like there was a company that had hired me and this company churns out a few RPG maker game in Korea. I think that was maybe 10 months ago. Not sure if the game came out, but I'm very sure with how incredible the graphics and enemies looked that it came out. Plus it worked like Secret of Mana... yet it was done in RPG Maker. Not sure how that worked.
... they gave me hilariously strict guidelines like my maps would be due on this date or else they'd pay me less for that map.
I think to get people to stick around you need to pay them. I've never been the leader of a project, just the mapper. But for RMN maybe just have 1 leader and find interchangable people. Like someone that can do 10 maps another person to do 10 maps when the first person disappears to do something else.
Maybe look at their RMN score to see if someone will be sticking around. Like the people with 0 score probably won't stick around.

author=MrChearlieauthor=ShortStarI thing that I not fully understand is how you keep the team, I was in two but both dissapeared in less than a week
I've worked with several people on several projects. To my knowledge 2 got done and 10 projects disappeared... within a month. Not including Mario games. I'm working with a team of 9 people right now on a major project. 2 writers, 2 mappers, 2 composers, 3 artists.
