The Seven Towers
- The flash to kick off the game was weird.
- Skipping the intro is a little weird to ask. Why not just push a button to skip it?
- Mode 7 would really help with the initial fly over.
- The clouds really need to move. Try some fog scripts.
- You need some text durring the fly over... like mapped by... scripts by....
- Future Helper isn't a good name or maybe that's your point. Try Mark and the Seven Towers or Seven Sinly Towers
- See if you can't get some pics for chapter scenes to make it feel more like a chapter is beginning and not just ordinary text.
- Spaces and capitolization are a must! Unless English is your second language you shouldn't be this bad :-)
- You need interactivity. Look at the picture... no time to go to sleep now. What are in the books? What is the computer used for?. Interactivity!!!!
- Your waterfalls need events that look like a water splashdown.
- Having your mom turn to you while she's still talking to herself shouldn't happen. She should stand still and not notice you... then when she notices you have her turn.
- Courtyard needs flowers or something and interactivity. Butterflies or something.
- i needs to be capitolized.
- wtf is with the N-Pad. I don't get it. Was this explained and I missed it?
- Windows on houses are way too high up. Maybe go with the windows that are 2 tiles tall and centered.
- You need more plant life. Trees, bushes, flower and stuff.
- A sign that says nothing.
- Cut off top to your lights.
- It feels very wrong having real phone numbers in the game... maybe instead have 4 digit phone numbers?
- You should have something remember numbers in the game for the player. Like a common event.
- Marketplace feels very empty and box-ish. You need clutter. Boxes, people moving.
- Buildings feel empty and naked inside.
- Crazy LOL music sometimes with the newspaper and the N-Pad thing.
- Fancy meeting you here? ... shouldn't it be welcome Sire... or you're late.
- Such pleasant town music after something spastic happens.
- Oh snap there's an organization called future helper? Uggg...
- It is very tough reading the text at the top of the battle screen. Make that black bar much darker please.
- Nice use of text sizes.
- The N-Pad music is very jarring... It should probably just be whatever music the map had if not more sedate music.

I'm not sure you want those mountains there, since they look a little too little and the bridges just look off...

I think kickstarter people are the perfect marks, because they're blissfully unaware that there are thousands of free games using the same engine.

You don't know who you are, where you are or what you will be doing? Sounds like Fallout / Rage. The artwork looks great. The screenshot look like every other game.
I think Echoes of Eternia was cheaper to get in on and sounded more professional.

[VX] can I put transparent images overlapping for a menu system?
I've been scripting a custom menu. I have transparent .png files that I'd love to post over one another... like 2 lovers that come together. However, it seems like the graphical image boxes are boxes and even though the images have transparent it is as ive invisible boxes cover when they overlap.
My only thought of a solution is to make an image box within an image box.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? I just don't want my menu to look so box-ish.

It needs to be very TES or it will suck like every MMO. But TES lets you just kill anyone. Maybe there will be bounties on other player's heads. Maybe thieves guild will have you stealing stuff from other players, mages guild will have you collecting mushrooms and fighters guild slaying thieves.
Or maybe its more just a co-op thing called a MMO. If you suck at bartering... just trade with other players. It will suck seeing a dozen other players at each shop or mission.
What I really dislike about MMOs will probably still be present like you kill an overlord boss... and his minions still remain to carry out his orders as if the boss still exists. When they could just send you to a different server that looks as if you've killed the boss and his minions.
For anyone that thinks it was kept secret for 5 years hasn't visited unofficial TES forums :-)
