... and there are others that say nothing if they had a tough time :-) I suppose it would be less daunting of a task if you weren't in such dire condition, since there's no way to be safe in a dungeon and all. Perhaps someone should illegally sell merchandise?

And no the game shouldn't be easy, but there should be safe areas like the normal RPG formula. Town > dungeon > town > dungeon. Instead of burning town > dungeon.

Need Help With Summoning Skills

That depends how you want to summon them. You can summon and replace the character summoning them... or you can have like a team of 3 and when someone is summoned they become party member 4 for a limited amount of turns or the end of the battle or forever. Describe what you'd like. I've never played FFX, but I do know how to help :-)

The houses feel too boxy. Try putting stuff around them or giving them roofs that don't feel flat.
