DC Universe Online is now Free to Play

... I see all these articles that its player base jumped up 1,000% but of those 1,000%, only 28% beat the first mission. That percentage is climbing up from 24 earlier this week. I'm going to ballpark it at 10,000,000 players now, 28% of which made it an hour into the game. 3,000,000 players all have the potential to give the game $5, but i'd say 10% will give $3, but that would make, 300,000 x $5 = 1,500,000. That's still more than none.

Anyone need a RPG VX mapper?

A work in progress. A massive 50x50 5 map city. So far this is almost 50 families in the city.

I made idea generators

I've been playing Dragon Warrior 8 for the first time. They have some really good enemies with interesting and original attacks and abilities. I'm gonna be stealing them to put into my enemy idea generator. Things like the frog face which when you hit them once they flip to reveal a much stronger attack. When you hit them again they flip back.

My first completed cutscene! Any feedback, suggestions?

I think your bridge needs the other rope. You shouldn't cover up one of your characters in dialog and make reference to who is talking.

Anyone need a RPG VX mapper?

That's ok I'm a dense person and need things spelled out sometimes. I'm amazing on dates. Anyway... I'll post something soon.

Grand Theft Auto V

Just like the new Star Trek. Alternate timelines.

DC Universe Online is now Free to Play

I do like the speed system. It beats my playing Dragon Warrior 8 and thinking there really needs to be a run button... then realizing oh I am running and walk speed is slower.

The speed races seem like patroling the streets. I've gotten platinum on both of them and looking at your Steam achievements... only 26% of players have gotten a platinum on the first race. That's almost like saying 26% of all Steam players have beaten the first mission.

I'm now 7 hours in I feel that I've completed 3 big missions. One seems to have taken me 3 hours because I had to do it 2 times before I figured out how to progress after a certain part. See you were supposed to set one thing so it counts down. The game shows you hold a button to pick something up or do something... but what it failed to do was tell me to do it again to carry it once I set it. I had been setting this thing and running to various points of a building. Then when I figured it out, a boss tediously killed me. So I went out to repair my gear, get some health potions then came in and killed all the enemies again only to get killed for the next frustrating hour. Maybe they really want you to bring a friend.

I think I'm done for a while. Time to write the creators.

RPGM2K3 - collecting "skill stones" - x number of stones = new skill unlocked

There are a few ways to do this... I'd say get 8 items with a common event that will count the amount you have. When you have 8 remove the 8 and give you 1 skill.
