Thank you! I even got help setting up the page and making a trailer, from Nansensu here on Rpgmaker.net.
Hi SnowOwl,

I really liked the trailer for It Moves. If it's not too much trouble, could you ask Nansenu to upload the trailer here on RMN? I saw it on steam awhile back and thought it was really well done and I think more people should see it. Like, it was simple, but really well executed because it got the idea of the game across immediately - it was really well done.

That's a good idea, and I can do that myself, the trailer is up on Youtube too:

(I also added the trailer to the game page)

I am a bit late to chime back in, but they absolutely LOVED the present : )
I gifted my beloved a "The Visit" notebook. It came out darker than I expected (the chair was VERY dark), but it is still very stunning and made a nice personal emotional gift.

So yay! : D Thank you for offering your art, it has made someone very happy.

I'm glad. I should probably make my stuff lighter then, it's hard to judge when you're making it how Redbubbles printers will make it look. Thanks!

Shameless plug time!

Thanks, both of you.

Edit: Just as a curious questions, are there any item types in particular that net you more profit than others?

The percentage of the profit is exactly the same for everything, so it doesn't really matter what you get.

Shameless plug time!

You're probably better off putting this in a thread. Statuses disappear, never to be seen again.

Also, don't be ashamed. You gotta eat.

You are right, of course.
From the look of things, it won't be many meals this will pay for though, at least to start with.

Shameless plug time!

Hi everyone.
So this is a bit of a weird one. I’ve said in the past that I won’t ever accept donations and that my games will always remain free, and I stand by that statement.
However, I’ve been thinking of ways I could make a couple of extra bucks lately. The economy is going to shit in Sweden (where I live) and the value of Swedish kronor dropped like a brick lately. So I’ve been thinking of ways to make up for that and I thought, why not sell some of my art?

The way I found to do that is by selling posters/prints etc. This is mostly a testrun, if it goes well, that’s great. If it doesn’t, I’ll just have to bear with it. From what I’ve heard, the competition in this business is, to say the least, murder.

So to start with, I ain’t buying any printer and other expensive stuff, but rather I’m leaving all the boring stuff to a big company. The tradeoff is of course that I also lose most of the profit, but hey, that’s life.

Either way, if you ever thought that you’d like something I made on your wall, feel free to take a look. I’ll fill the shop out as time goes by. Also, if there’s anything in particular you think I should make send me a message. I’m open to any suggestions. There’s also the usual mishmash of stuff like phone cases, pillows and mugs:

I decided to play one of the first games I've ever made. I'm wondering how the hell I was able to put up with ANYTHING I implemented in that game.

I know the feeling. My first game was a boring wanderfest.

ppl are actually playing my games omg *tear*

Congratulations. Next step is releasing something finished.

Entering month 3 of almost zero gamemaking.

I guess gamemaking is a pretty new artform compared to most other forms of creative endeavours. I might be wrong about people being overly critical compared to other stuff, that's just the feeling I got, seeing people ruthlessly criticise other peoples first games. Maybe I'm not the best persib to judge that, seeing as none of my games really garnered that kind of criticism. I should probably be happy about that, one of my first completed games that I put on the internet even got featured here on RMN. That is also a big part of the reason I still make games, seeing as it was so well received.

Also, to clarify, I don't plan on stopping my gamemaking, I just can't find the right idea for what to do next. I do still enjoy making games, I just feel I want my next game to be something special which is why I'm having trouble coming up with what exactly my next game should be about. I also want to somehow stray from the beaten path a bit and do something I haven't done before, which further complicates it.
