I am the co-founder of Flash games developer Megadev. I am responsible for all art assets, including in-game graphics, animations, frontend, titlescreens, marketing materials and general digital illustrations.
As an RMer, I created two critically acclaimed games/demos: NigSek: A Monster's Tail, and Idunn Ymiraldor. I have also made a few assets for people to use in-game such as tilesets and monster graphics, which are public domain.

Internet persona vs "Real life" persona
I like to be as honest about my real life personality as I am in my online personality - I dislike confrontations and arguing, and though I may make the odd snarky comment here or there or act snobbish, generally I try to be a good egg.
The thing is (as the OP says) being online gives you lots of time to think your answers through, and this is something I really wish I had the luxury of in real life as I stutter a lot and say dumber things because of lack of time spent thinking about it. Part of this though is the amount of confidence you are afforded when you have the typical virtual "safety net" surrounding everything you do - generally I will be more adventurous with the things I say online than in real life. Sometimes it's good to take some of the outlandish (though not outright offensive) things you say online and use them a bit in the real world to make yourself an interesting person. It's quite ironic how some of the nerdiest things about my life have lead to the most interesting social gatherings that I've really enjoyed!
Lastly, I really REALLY hate my own voice, and being online spares myself and others from it. :D

post your picture

Me taken this morning. I haven't been sleeping very well lately so please excuse the unenthusiastic look. The webcam directly faces the balconette so that explains the heavenly glow.
Anyway, hi!
Voice acting in games
I don't think RM games are organized enough to manage something that's so daunting as voice acting for the entire game. It's something that removes more when it's bad than adds when it's good, and unless you know a whole heap of people that can do it for you who sound competent and enthusiastic (and above all are actually willing to do the job through to the end) then don't bother.
Various snippets here and there can be okay without so much work needed, although again, if they are bad they will ruin the effect you have going on.

CRAZE IS GONE v2
Mario Kart Wii
Karsu's Sophomore Animation
That's pretty cool. I like some of the animated reactions to things (like Boris stopping at the beach and Claude swinging around in a wide arc afterwards, and Boris leapfrogging Claude's head at the other beach.)
Some of it could have been worked on a bit better, but for 10 weeks it's definitely a solid animation piece for your course. I bet it's much better than everyone else's for certain.

KCA Fanart
Haha, Aristocrab. Nice. I did that sprite edit for Brick as a joke, but didn't realize its existence still permeated to this day.
Every single one of these pieces is bloody awesome. Brick is quite lucky to have a fan like you. Well done!
Now put the barricades up before you get 1,908,269,264 more request from RPG Maker people. :D

SpherEternity: Fallen Angels
Here is a question; how long has this been in development for? As in, how much actual finished assets, coding and audio tracks do you have for the game?
Also, here's a protip: 1200 people saying they will buy an indie project at $30 doesn't necessarily translate into 1200 people ACTUALLY following through with that promise. Personally I think the price would be too high, particularly since you are nowhere near finished with some of your quite outlandish claims. Indie games of large scale usually go for $15-20, with regular offers on that price too to spark interest.

RMN Pixel Art Contest
Just wanted to chirp in and say I look forward to judging your pixel art pieces, so make good with them! ;D
If it wasn't made clear already, please try to submit them as either .gif or .png, or even .bmp unless it's a ridiculously huge size. Even though it won't be judged based on compression artifacting, nevertheless .jpg doesn't do your piece any favours.

Sovan Jedi's art topic of arty farty fun!
author=kentona link=topic=71.msg4504#msg4504 date=1193409086
needs more teeth (rows and rows of teeth! Did you skip biology class, Sovan?)
But that's pretty damn cool.
Yes I'm aware sharks have rows upon rows of teeth and they're constantly pushing themselves outwards as they grow, but I didn't want to go that far with the accuracy of it. I wagered that almost all of the promo material this could potentially be used for would be tiny they would not show up very well on there and make the mouth look a bit of a mess from a distance.
Thanks though!
