I had my eye on this game and got really disappointed when I found out it became a dead project. When this came up in my notices, I was just like "whoah!".

Well, in Spanish (The original language of the game) "Dhux's Scar" reads "La cicatriz de Dhux" so there's no escaping the resemblance. x) ...And yes, just the name and the crescent is a good idea. When it comes to logos, less is always more. o/

I feel like "Scarred" is a little too average. Plus, I don't want it to be thought of as similar to "Dhux's Scar." If enough people seem to think that "Scarred" would be better then I'll certainly change it... but I did just do all that work to make the logo for "Cicatrix."

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I don't really like that top left one there either, but I need SOMETHING there, otherwise the right one gets squished... there also should be something there to link back to the main page. So yeah, I'll have to think of something.
The wings were cool, but they didn't really have too much to do with it either. At least this time around it's actually ME doing the logos, (which is probably why it looks a little less polished). I'm an illustration major in college, but my digital skills aren't quite up to par yet. Eventually I'll draw a few things and scan them which will give me a better base to work off of. I suppose this logo will be updated as time goes on.

Name is not everything, try to concentrate on main body of the game. People play game by the powerful content in the game not by the name.

Yeah, it will probably become Ephren's Journey. The only thing I am worried about is the fact that there is an "Everlasting Journey." To be honest I just need to find a really creative name that doesn't come off as stupid.

Thank you! I'll test them out but honestly I think I'll just keep things the way they are. You should still be able to see the item you are about to get, etc. and I don't want them to get too small. Tbh I don't really know why the large items bother people, it's not like Rm2k3 (especially the sprite style) is made to be realistic.

It's from Golden Sun: The Lost Age! I'm sad to say that the coding for the minimap isn't mine, I had been working on my own original one but I hit quite a few snags that no one around was able to figure out (not even boberticus..) so it's from Velsarbor. I'm actually gonna get around to changing it eventually.. :\

Are they still too big? I actually just resized them. I suppose I could make them smaller but there comes a certain point where they're gonna just be a little golden dot..
