Cool stuff, TDS.
Drink command kills whoever uses it (Testing purposes) and the sprite looks like he fell down drunk.

Done with Lufia. Terranigma beat me.
So, I found a bunch of neat sprites and now I'm making the FF1 battle system.

Movement Controls are Bugged. (RPG Maker VX)
Maybe you set some tiles to impassable.
The pressing CTRL to move sort of gives a hint to that since it's a testing button used to move through anything.
Check your tiles to see what kind of passable setting they have.
X Means that is not passable and O means passable.

Oh! I wasn't fishing for anything to use personally, I simply curious. I've always held the belief that the best way to get good at something is to blatantly copy another man's work to figure out how he did it. This is how I've taught myself to play music. I can see how the process translates to programming in that sense.
Anyway, thanks for the offer, but right now I'm still playing around on 2k3. If the offer still stands sometime in the future when I migrate back to VX, I might take you up on that.
Offer is good always and I didn't think you were fishing for a script, it's just that I always offer to make stuff in case anyone needs it.

TDS, that menu looks prime. Do you have any plans to use it for anything, or you just recreating stuff as a sort of exercise?
Thanks, I don't really use any of those scripts for anything and I stopped releasing public work a long time ago. I just do it for fun like people who draw fan art (I can't draw) so I replicate stuff I see from games then save any methods that might help me later on with something new.
If you want a menu though, I can make you one. Just let me know how you want it.
The Dreaded P Word
Unless it's something that's worth a lot I wouldn't worry about being plagiarized. The fight simply is not worth it in most cases, especially in my experience where my work ends up in some foreign site being stripped and re posted with different credits.
Also while proving that something was my work with clear proof, they still made it look like I stole from the guy who stole it from me.
As for preventing plagiarism of my work which is mostly scripts. I use aliasing with parts of my name which most people ripping scripts don't understand enough to change, for now...

Looking for a tester.

Definitely, like what I'm seeing in TDS's battle system. It seems to include some features that some others I have played in some games seem to lack: visible turn queue, stamina level to limit movement (or perhaps even actions) per turn and each enemy does its own attention calculation for the AI.
Two things I'm wondering, though: Do actions on either side have a certain range of effect? Will moving a character (enemy or ally) behind another prevent them from being targeted? Finally, the one thing that would make it a real tactical jewel were if enemies and allies could occupy any square in the grid, but that's probably asking for too much.
Thanks.
Skills like movement require stamina to use and prevent one single character from dishing out huge amounts of damage by repeating the same powerful skill. Making you rely on status effects to produce higher damage over time in most cases. Also you recover a set amount of Stamina % each turn or can use foods to speed this process up.
As for moving behind characters causing effects. Yes hiding behind a character can prevent them from being a target if the character in front of them is equipped with the cover ability. Without the ability the damage they receive will be cut in half while the damage they produce will increase the attention of both the person defending and the one being defended.
As for occupying any square in the grid... It wouldn't work since the damage and defense modifiers are based on a simple "Back", "Middle" and "Front" positions. Though it could be easily changed by merging the grids and adding a direction value to determine position and modifier, but that would mean a lot of modifications at this point.

I think Go Digital is this one:
http://www.godigitalmg.com/aboutgd.php
which would make sense in terms of them wanting to display ads ("monetization").
Yeah, that one does make more sense.
This also makes me think about all those videos with random MMO adds in them. Does that mean that some MMO claimed the rights to the video or are they it targeted google adds?
Sort of find it hard to believe a MMO about dragons has anything to do with Dead Space Play through videos.
