I'm still looking forward to playing more Ninja Gaiden (the original; call me a masochist).
I still plan on playing MGS4 and Wild Arms 1 when I get the chance. Seems they may have to wait for July when I'm on true vacation.

So maybe we should lower our standards a tad.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with Karsuman and GRS concerning dialogue. One of the biggest detractors for ME when playing a game is really verbose dialogue. It's fine if it fits the character, but not when everyone in the game speaks as if the writer was trying to write a graduate level thesis. It's just not how people normally speak. Which brings me to a certain point I try to hold to: Don't write dialogue on the fly/off the cuff.
I like to have at least 95% of the maps finished, the characters plotted out, the story full developed, all before I start writing a script. This way you can keep a consistent style that jives with the characters personality, and the feel of the game.

Occasional Cannot Find Server Error?
Yeah, I figured as much, but just wanted to make sure it wasn't isolated to me. Well that's good I guess! Let's just hope all those people start posting.

80's Costume Party!
Hahaha, I posted it the day of the party in the early AM of my Timezone. That day was June 14th, a Saturday. So now the party has passed.
As I said kentona had great ideas, but a little hard to put together with 12 hours notice. So I grabbed a white sport jacket, white pants and a pastel blue t-shirt and rocked my best Crockett. ;D

Hahaha, liked the Peanuts reference. Also, you're right about Baron conquering at breakneck speeds, I never noticed that as a kid. Either Baron has the universe's most elite soldiers, or their opposition has the military competence of a Fat Chocobo.
Gotta say, the GBA version does look pretty good. I guess it's partially won me over, but I still like the originals charm.

Occasional Cannot Find Server Error?
Also known as Page Cannot Be Displayed. I was just wondering if anyone else encounters this error when trying to access RMN, on a frequent basis? It's not isolated to my home network either, as I sometimes encounter it at work. This error is a scourge as it prevents me from popping on the forums at leisure!
