(Tau)Will map for booze and boredom!

Tau's bored out of his mind Mapping help thread!

This topic is simple. I'm relatively bored and losing that passion for Rpgmaker I once had. Ive grown fond of the little thing(Rm2k/3)and have made a small reputation for my maps, so here is the deal..

Post a request of what type of map you want with the tile you want to use and I'll make it for you, simple right? Here's examples of what I can do.

Formats: Rm2k/3 only sorry. No XP or VX at the moment.

Side note: Will only take on one or two requests at a time and be clear on what you want because I will only redo a map so many times.

Requests:
Kentona/Runelords - Floating Continent Searching for Tiles
Rei/Ascendence - Unknown Current

Roshi soon learns that Goku is the grandson of Gohan (Randall Duk Kim) and thus trains him to prepare him for the ultimate battle with Lord Piccolo to prevent him from collecting the powerful Dragon Balls.

This movie looks so unbelievably shit it's mind boggling! Bad sound effects and WAY to much CGI and wirework.

Oh it's just a box..

QJNet
Being a slow news day, we have time for a quick laugh.

Think Solid Snake hiding under a cardboard box is as ridiculous as Clark Kent's glasses? Well, think again. Some guy in a German prison managed to cut his sentence short thanks to a cardboard box.

The 42-year-old Turkish citizen climbed into the cardboard box and mailed himself out of prison. By express courier no less. If they ever suspected that it moved, they probably thought "oh, it's just box."

Once the courier passed through the gates, the inmate cut a hole in the tarp and made a run for it. The man is still at large, but is already forever part of the "Cardboard Box" entry in the Metal Gear Wiki.

Source!

"Snake now that you have escaped you must regroup with Otacon where you'll be briefed on your next mission.. And a hooker"

But in all seriousness how did they miss this? Also must have had help from someone else to close the box. What do you guys think?

Quantum of Solace

Theatrical Trailer.
Imdb Link.

'Quantum of Solace' continues the high octane adventures of James Bond from 'Casino Royale'. Picking up literally hours after the previous film left off, after being betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Having captured Mr. White, and in pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and 'M' interrogate Mr. White who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper to steal Bond's casino winnings is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.

Forensic intelligence links an MI6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille, a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene, a ruthless businessman and major force within the mysterious criminal organization known only as 'Quantum'.

On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world's most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano. Using his associates in the organization, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in Bolivia, giving General Medrano control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land which is, however, a main source of the South American water supply. In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists, and even 'M' herself, to unravel Greene's sinister plan and stop Quantum from getting its way.

Anyone seen this yet or planning on seeing this? I thought Casino Royale was an amazing movie, definitely gave the series a better look and feel in my opinion. Plus it wasn't just some middle aged guy running around with perfect accuracy and screwing every bitch in sight.

All Japanese Rpg Character Art considered Anime?

Basically the topic title. Are all Japanese Rpgs character art considered in the same context as Anime, being Anime in itself?

Tekken 6 Smacking Xbox 360

Namco Bandai kicks off Tokyo Game Show with confirmation that long-awaited PS3 fighter will launch on rival console simultaneously in fall 2009.

The current generation of consoles has seen a number of longtime exclusive third-party games migrate to multiplatform releases. The Devil May Cry franchise was a Sony exclusive brand until the fourth installment debuted on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII has also shed its exclusivity and will be appearing (in the West at least) simultaneously on Microsoft's and Sony's platforms.

Now, one more once-stalwart Sony exclusive has gone multiplatform, as Namco Bandai today opened up the 2008 Tokyo Game Show by revealing its arcade fighter Tekken 6 would be launching worldwide for the Xbox 360 in fall 2009, simultaneously with the previously announced PS3 edition. The Xbox 360 version of the game will mark the Tekken series' first installment on a non-Sony system since the 2002 Game Boy Advance experiment Tekken Advance.

Tekken project director Katsuhiro Harada--in an exclusive interview with GameSpot--said taking the Tekken series to more platforms would allow even more fans to enjoy the franchise.

"Timing was an important factor in this decision. As you have the 360 and the PS3--both relatively high-powered platforms--out at the same time frames. Both of them have high 3D specifications. And since Tekken is most famous for its graphics and visual design as a 3D fighter, we felt the high specs of these machines lend themselves very well to having the game on both consoles," he said.

Harada admits there will be challenges in taking Tekken 6 to the 360, given that the original arcade version was built on a PS3-based architecture. "When we tried to move it to the 360, it would be a lie to say I wasn't concerned. It is quite difficult. For example, on the PS3 you have the Blu-ray disc as well as the hard disk, which lends itself to a lot of options for the game. We don't necessarily have this for the 360, where it has a DVD and it may not have a hard disk by default. So there are various things that we have to overcome when porting this to the 360, but I'm sure we can do it," he said.

Tekken 6 will include a number of new characters which Namco Bandai said will result in the largest roster the series has seen to date. The game also expands on the way character customizability has been used in previous Tekken titles, with special items affecting gameplay and allowing new moves to be performed. The console versions of the arcade brawler will also feature online play.

This is just the latest example of Namco Bandai opening up its premiere franchises to multiplatform development. Xbox 360 launch title Ridge Racer 6 marked that series' first non-Sony console appearance since 2000's Ridge Racer 64, while Ace Combat had only flown the Sony skies on consoles before Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation launched on the 360 last year. The Namco Bandai multiplatform flow goes the other way as well; last year's Xbox 360 role-playing game Eternal Sonata debuts on the PS3 later this month.

Pirates 4?

Johnny Depp to star in more Disney projects, including "Pirates 4"

LOS ANGELES (AFP) â€" Superstar actor Johnny Depp has signed on to three new Disney projects, including the fourth installment of the blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, the entertainment industry newspaper Variety confirmed Thursday.

Along with the reprisal of off-beat pirate Captain Jack Sparrow, Depp will star as the long-suffering Native American sidekick Tonto in a new version of the iconic "Lone Ranger," produced by hit producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

If this wasn't enough for the 45-year-old actor, Depp will also play the Mad Hatter in director Tim Burton's adaptation of the classic "Alice in Wonderland," using a mix of 3D animation and performance capture technology similar to that used for 2007's "Beowulf."

The announcements for "Ranger," "Wonderland" and "an additional role" were made before a crowd of roaring fans in Hollywood Wednesday when Depp appeared at the Walt Disney Showcase, a preview of the studio's productions over the next few years.

The "Pirates 4" confirmation arrived early Thursday through the actor's representatives in Variety.

The franchise has been a worldwide phenomenon since the first installment in 2003, earning more than 2.6 billion dollars at the box office.

Fans are rejoicing the actor's reunion with director Burton, who has created the milestone projects of Depp's career, including his breakout role in the 1990 blockbuster "Edward Scissorhands," and 2005's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Like many of Depp's roles, the new Disney projects seek to attract as many adult viewers as they do younger fans.

No premiere dates for any of the projects have been announced.

No more Pirates please.. it's been done. The 2nd and 3rd films were really poor. I thought Depp had a bit more integrity than this. Move on!
