Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest on Wii Virtual Console
What's the benefit of paying money to play this game on the wii as opposed to other free methods? Is there extra content?

haha That's just his usual sprite. It's only 1x2 so there's not much room to edit.

Do you play RM games with headphones?
The reason I ask is because it seems like the music volume levels in my RPG match the sound volume levels only when playing the game with headphones on. That's how I make it, but when it's played through speakers the music can barely be heard. I'm considering putting in a volume setting to make up for it.

It's supposed to be the slope of the land. On the next screen to the right it gets shorter and eventually blends in with the bottom path in a u-turn. I know it doesn't look perfect.
I see what you mean though, if I meant for it to be all on the same level it would be more wrong. I actually started this level with a line down the middle and as you can see I edited everything but the line and just kinda left it. The corner piece in the water I used because I don't have anything else, I would edit that piece to look different and actually blend in to try and give the right visual effect.

Like I said I'm trying something new and I was trying to make it look like a slope by making the bottom part decline while the path stays the same. It's just um, concept maps :D Also, seeing the adjacent maps gives the whole picture.

Another lesson: Don't upload a game that you haven't play tested THE SAME WAY A PERSON DOWNLOADING WOULD. That means playing the final product outside of the RPGMaker test mode and playing to it to completion. The slow walk speed issue should have never been released.

Day and Night
You could just have an NPC with a message asking if you want to stay at the inn, then have a choice showing yes or no. In the Yes branch, simulate staying at the Inn(reduce money by X amount, restore HP, hide screen and play music if you want). That way you can add the changes to the time variables as well.
