Random thoughts

Interesting characters love them

nice menu

i think the avatars are custom?

bestery is awesome

statistics are awesome

i REALLY hate when enemies go 1st...
you can potentially take MASSIVE damage b4 being able to prepare at all...
worse you rely on tp better hope you have enough to turn it around

game would seriously benefit from a mapping system

Overall

ok being dead honest of all the rpg maker games ive seen this is easily in the top 10 hardest
BUT you have awesome choices
when you start the game you can pick normal(save everywhere) or ironwill(no saving!)

if you pick normal then you can choose a difficulty
easy, normal, hard(which i assume effects enemy stats)
if you want difficult battles of course choose hard
easy probably requires less preparation for a fight and would be better for casual players

game play time...id say...between 2-3.5 hours(depends on player,mode ect)

it has cute custom battle sprites with nifty animations!
and most if not ALL enemies are custom made for this far as i can tell(i have not seen any of them b4)

the characters have some fun lines, some of which can possibly be missed sadly...
theres not a lot of dialog in the game overall tho
i wont say anything about the ending! play yourself or hope for a playthru!

Closing
i HIGHLY recommend this title to people unless they do not like rpg battles and prefer horror or pure story driven titles
people that want something that takes a bit more thought may enjoy this as it can be a little difficult but if your extremely prepared and careful you should be fine

Tips? (general)

the maker set it up so grinding is a must
but there's a actual limit(lvl 20) to how much power you can get,i highly recommend exploring every lvl very thoroughly or chances are you will regret it later
obtain as many accessory's and hidden items as you can as there are invaluable to beating the later stages
grind alot and have as many full party heals, revives and status cures as you can!
try to pay attention to what a enemy resists and is weak to
and change your style accordingly
DO NOT PLAY IRON WILL MODE ON HARD UNLESS YOUR A MASOCHIST!
SAVE OFTEN!
*note quick save ALWAYS saves in slot 1
dont forget to use Defend!
enemies at least in the later areas 3+ can go 1st and do major damage to you
there is no counter for this

also noticed this games name was used b4 o.o
Eremidia Dungeon is a game on here!
Thank you for playing. I haven't tested with full screen and such since I don't have a plan to make it fullscreen. And if it's suddenly freezes, perhaps you accidentally press the ALT button.

Yup, the avatars are custom. I draw them manually

And hey, I'm glad you figure out most of game tactic I made. Yes, don't forget to defend since I usually found defend in most of RPGs is useless xD

Eremidia: Dungeon! is our collaboration project. The man above which has same avatar with me (seal of approval) is the developer, and I'm also one of the team member. This game is spin-off I made.

P.S : The enemy sprites are actually taken from Milano Battlers

Got the same error, happens every time i try to open "skills" and "Bestiary" in the menu.
Added new patch. Though, it's actually avoidable. Sorry for inconvenience "orz

M.O.G. Graphics

Interesting event. Am I allowed to only submit RTP faceset redraw? Or I have to submit my original characters?

Eremidia Dungeon : Skyward Temple Review

Hey, thank you for review!.
Well, I wonder how could you played it in up to 13 hours lol. And so far, it seems my game is pretty cruel in player perspective. Ok, I shouldn't torture the player by this kind of design next time.

Btw, sorry for the plot. Really, I'm suck on making them.
I should have join some team project so I can write the story better.

And side note :
Fireball isn't weak. It's about to use in the right timing. e.g, when the 'Terragon' uses Diamond Skin and the fire ball will handle it. Well, yeah you can't spam the same skill in different enemy.

-It would be nice if I could know what type of damage everything did up front.

Actually, the damage type and such kind of information are provided in skill menu. Or do you want me to display it in battle instead?

Again thank you very much for review =D

Where is the character's shadows!?

Is that obvious? The shadow below the sprite. Or you probably need to look at the previous screenshot to see the difference

Ironically, RPG Maker on tumblr is now associated with horror instead of with, you know, RPGs.

Now, it's good to know that I'm not the only one who thought the same

Have you learned English while developing games on RM?

I'm not native English speaker. Game was the first one which built the basic understanding of English for me. At least I know how to read. And by talking to foreign it improves my English. At least, I knew new several words and phrases. I'm still studying grammars and such though.

I learned how to communicate. But it's different matter about in game language. It seems it requires a lot of vocabularies outside the words we always use in forum. I decided to write the game language in my native language at first. Then ask help from someone to translate my game.

screen.png

I would like to suggest you to use some of sideview enemy graphics like Milano Cat battlers or Etolier.

Well, those in screenshot might be just placeholders. But I expect in final product those graphics should be changed. Just my humble opinion.

A Journey's End

Pretty interesting. I like XAS and it's definitely going to be added to my watch list. Great work :D

Complete game released!

I see. Well, I will wait for futher comments then if there's any :)

Complete game released!

Real quick impressions...

- Battles run smooth but may be too difficult for some.
- Battles against the same enemies (there are only 30 different enemies?) get repetitive fast.
- Dialogue is good.
- Some errors on item and skill descriptions ("on ally" instead of "one ally" and "allly" instead of "ally" come to mind)
- Fast battle actions offset by long wait times between character turns. There's like a 2-3 second wait between character actions.
- Not sure if it's me but I didn't find any explanation anywhere on what status conditions like Frightened actually do.

Fun, though! Good job on coding the systems!

Thanks for those quick impressions :D

Those dialogues had been proof read by my dear friend. So, thanks goes to him. It might be repetitive, so go get to the next floor. The first floor is just to get used on my battle system. Soon, each enemy has uniqueness. Even it has only 30 variations.

I haven't made an 'encyclopedia' things about those states. Do you think I need make one?

Also, thanks for pinpoint a few errors. Will be fixed soon if there's a new version of this game.
