Contest Script Release

It's a nice script. Maybe if you change weapons and armor into "feature_objects" it will be much better since it will also check states, class, and actor notebox. So the tag works on everything!

P6 Blog #26 Battle system script assistance.

Is this pointed out to my script?

I like this one better

DoH TPW - Progress Report Act 2

That theme definitely has some kind of clockwork essence on it, nice. The changing pace on the second half was a bit unexpected.

Is it used for scene? or dungeon bgm?

You know your game will never free of bugs.

The first one I never noticed. Granted, I never pay attention to the battle log in the first place. It might be much better if it has screenshot or so.

The second one is actually something I noticed, and I just giggled when that happened. But because it was so minor, at the end of the day I forgot to put it on my to do list. Probably not worth the hassle for a patch.

Anyway thx for reporting though.

Why didn't YOU play this game? (LET ME HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS)

Got this bumped in latest post with really interesting blog post title. So I'm intrigued. So here are my cents.

First, I noticed that the color scheme is not my thing just like Archie said. It hurts. By graphics alone, I'd skip the game.

Second, I hate default frontview. Anything uses frontview took away my interest by 60%. Unless there's a strong reason to play the game, like some "eye-candy", or just because it's my friend's game.

Third, you put no leveling as feature, for me, it's not a feature. I like grinding and I like progression. You put no leveling already took away my interest. If I want to play "no leveling" game, I might as well as play action based game. Granted, it's a personal interest that might not resemble majority's interest.

Game.exe crash bug, advice needed

Real quick impressions...

- Battles run smooth but may be too difficult for some.
- Battles against the same enemies (there are only 30 different enemies?) get repetitive fast.
- Dialogue is good.
- Some errors on item and skill descriptions ("on ally" instead of "one ally" and "allly" instead of "ally" come to mind)
- Fast battle actions offset by long wait times between character turns. There's like a 2-3 second wait between character actions.
- Not sure if it's me but I didn't find any explanation anywhere on what status conditions like Frightened actually do.

Fun, though! Good job on coding the systems!

Thanks for those quick impressions :D

Those dialogues had been proof read by my dear friend. So, thanks goes to him. It might be repetitive, so go get to the next floor. The first floor is just to get used on my battle system. Soon, each enemy has uniqueness. Even it has only 30 variations.

I haven't made an 'encyclopedia' things about those states. Do you think I need make one?

Also, thanks for pinpoint a few errors. Will be fixed soon if there's a new version of this game.

The Project Back Online

Hey, Skie Fortress, thanks for trying the old demo.

The AP regeration is constant even if you have leveled up. If you want to get the AP faster, defend. It could adds 7 AP and for each turn, you will get 5 AP. So, you get the profit by defending. Also, if you're lucky enough, there's accessories could boost your AP regen. Or if you don't mind, use Action Regen item.

And of course, since it was greatly inspired from E:D! there will be timed-hit soon in later version of the battle system. I just need the time
