It was alright, but mostly just regurgitated western movie cliches all over the place. Ballad of the Fallen Angels is a very stylish (and really over the top cheesy) episode, and Ed's antics are amusing, but otherwise there's not much to recommend.

Exactly. If you had every scene as playable, you can bet at least one third of the players would be jumping around or looking at a wall/own party members/shiny object while missing a plot-relevant stabbing or some such.

Etrian Odyssey games also live and die by their gameplay, since they have nothing else. (And in the case of EO1 at least, I'd say the gameplay was tedious.) They're useless as examples if you wish to integrate a storyline of some sort into your game.

7 players left with (probably) 2 scum in the midst isn't too bad, no. After all it is the standard 7 player mafia start but with a ton more information since it's day three already.

I'm just perplexed by the happenings. Gonna read back and try to get a read on the living players.
