YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.

I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?

Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*

When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

Cool! Thanks for playing, bud.

About the doors...usually I use movable doors for doors you can use and non-animated for ones you can't, but that chipset didn't have "still" doors and at the time I didn't feel like pasting, but I'm thinking about doing it now.

[DEMO/ADVERT] VANITY: Satan's Wish

No problem.

I read your comment at phanx... I really do appreciate it. Glad you've enjoyed it so far.

Release Something Podcast

I didn't expect to listen to the whole thing, but I did (I was on the bus to work - what else was there to do?). It was really good, I enjoyed listening to it.

My game got like one mention and a quick "NO!", but that was okay. :P

[DEMO/ADVERT] VANITY: Satan's Wish

A bit late, but the demo's the complete. I'm sure people have already seen this in various places, but here we go. :P

Also, can you post youtube videos here?

VANITY

This is set in modern-ish times. 100 hundred years from now, so it's not really like futuristic or anything.

The pathways don't become clear in the demo right away, though you do already get the hang of it a little bit. I don't want to spoil too much, BUT I will say that your alignment path determines who will join your party. Playing the demo will give you somewhat of an idea of which characters you'll get in which story path. :p

Release Something Podcast

That's cool.

I can't wait to hear it.

Everyone's games look really good, though.

Right now I'm playing through Balmung, but I want to get through some more of them.

Release Something Podcast

This sounds interesting. Lookin' forward to it. :)

Release Something! Day [FOR REALZ this time]

VANITY: Satan's Wish

My most recent demo, and my first release in almost a year (and my last until 09). Inspired by Shin Megami Tensei, the game presents a series of possible story paths, and you pick which one you want to follow by your actions.

The game uses MP3s, so if you don't want to download the whole file (70 MB), you can download it in bits. I don't know which one's faster, though.

Was there any RPGmaker game with a battle system that you liked?

Probably ABL

But I don't think I recall ever dislike a battle system in RM game either. Alter Aila was nice too, but some of the fights dragged a little.
