YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

Wow, thanks for the feedback, guys! It was an in-class assignment, and I was late, so I only had about 5-6 minutes to write it before it was time to read.
Ignoring Ignorance: Um, what.
Personally, I don't see the ~controversy~ behind having an ignore function. 90% of forums have one. I mean, me myself, I'll probably never use it, but if someone does choose to use it, I'm sure it'll be for a good reason. I doubt people will just click ignore whenever they get into a disagreement with someone.

Haha, thanks! I really do appreciate hearing that. =)
No one flagged it. But I posted it somewhere else and...well, let's just say the reaction was...unfavorable.
Basically, I pussy'd out, and planned to replace it with something safer. I can re-post it though, if anyone's curious. Just as long as no one thinks I'm a sick freak afterward.

Real Social Issues in Videogames

I thought Persona 3 and 4 were very well done in terms of portraying actual teenagers. They were certainly leagues above most JRPG teens who given a sword and sent to fight the demon lord when they turn 15. I never attended a Japanese high school but I still identified with the main characters and their issues. Who hasn't had to deal with a part of their personality that they don't want to accept? Yes it usually does not culminate in a huge battle with a physical, demonic manifestation of your other self, but the issues were still very real.
I agree. The teenagers in P4, I thought, were very realistic--at least compared to most RPGs. Yosuke and Yukari in particular (although I didn't always like them).
Comparing P3/4 to P2 is a little unfair...because, well, P2 is sort of in a league of its own. =P
