Nastasia from SPM used "K" so there's precedent there, My spelling and grammar do need work and I'll get someone to go in there and lay out exactly what I need to fix soon. The emotes are somthing I will use with the rare few characters that do not talk but are supposed to be cute (like the baby) This is another stylistic choice on my part, yes it takes some seriousness and professionality out of the game but that is sort of what I'm going for so its ok, Mario RPGs and Mother played around with text all the time for comedic effect so that's basically what I am doing too, most RM games take themselves ultra seriously when they have complex backstory and characters like this game does so I can expect people to not expect dialogue like what I presented here, and be a little taken aback. Sirry to be so "no u" about this but its really just a matter of the game's srtyle, and bowing to alot of these conerns would kill it in favior of more normalized, dry writung which is really not what I want for this particular project.

They seem fine to me, they may be a bit too dark but they don't stand out enough for me to lose any sleep over them, and certainly not enough to force the person who converted them to VX to have to edit it further, when he already had to do so a fuckton to get it to look right. I see now what you mean by them standing out, but its not blatant and may actually make the map look a bit better for it in a weird sort of way. (at least to me)

and don't I know it. I have seen impressive and detailed looking work with the VX RTP before, but I think I've done ok with what I had to work with.

Yeah, the way Hellion is, I can see how balancing can be a bit of a night mare (you aren't even sure what types of weapons the player will have since so much of it is randomized)
Hopefully the knowledge that if the player defeats every monster in the 4 floors before Mr. Skeleton he will be at level 8 will help with the balancing

Arararararghh that stupid Skeleton king is a massive jump in difficulty, being able to easily one hit kill my strongest people and it's directly after another fight leaving you no time to rest in between, and is in a multiple enemy group. If I didn't have a Warrior with Holy Blade I'd have lost. Fought him at Level 7.
I agree with this and then some. This guy just decimated my level 8 party like it was nothing (they were almost at full health!) He seems to be an optional boss that is meant to be fought at like level 13 or somthing so I'd either tone him down so he is at least possible to beat at level 8 (which is the level you should be at if you beat every single monster on floors 1, 2, 3, and 4 like I did) or make it so we won't be able to challenge him until the party is at a point where it is alot stronger (a switch door blocking the way to him would accomplish this easily) because people will try to challenge him at level 8, lose horribly, and assume your game is broken when it could actually have been your intention for him to be fought at a later time. (because, again, level 8 is pretty much the strongest you can be when he first appears, I even went as far as to try every single grave teleporter combination to guarantee that I killed them all and got all the exp. available.)
