Play Something! Day III [February 4th, 2009]
My play somthing game (or I guess I should say demo) is Glacia
it seemed interesting, it has no posted reviews (though it has a lengthy comment that might count as a review)and its VX, which is the maker I'm most familiar with
I basically think I played enough of it to write a good review before I ran into a game ending bug (I could just consider it the end of the demo of course)

you can't play it until its approved, and even then I may have messed up somehow, its hard for me to test the compressed game file myself of course

The truth is that this battle background and view screen reminds me alot of Mother 3, which is my favorite RPG by far, so I guess that's why I'm so partial to it

You know I've been looking for a avatar of Lil Conan but can't find one. It's like DC fans don't exist.
He's pretty easy to find, just run a google search for "Detective Conan" images

I completed the demo
Now I'm just play testing and debugging the game so it'll be all nice and error free before release
lots of head slapping moments in this phase of game making
the demo is looking to be about 2-3 hours long (and that's with me basically doing speed runs through sections I have tested before)

I just joined so I never got a chance to get to know the guy obviously
so this news didn't get much reaction out of me, the RMN3 feature of games being automatically bumped up when they are updated was somthing I was really looking forward to and I hope that feature is still feasible without WIP
but even if it isn't I think the way the site is now is ok
