The Here and Now of Yesterday

C'mon Liberty! Let's hear a status update!
There's no rush or anything. I just want to hear about the situation.
I feel so let down when it's so quiet around here...

That damn quicksand, later in the game you get past it somehow.

Even the main character criticizes my mapping. Rain shouldn't be inside, suppose to turn,
would make it better effect.

The faceset seems abit conflicting there is some errors, but it doesn't do it for the other the other emotions
I think.

I swear, this isn't what it's gonna look like.

That house might not be a good shelter, because apparently it's missing a roof.
But I suppose beggars can't be choosers after all?

Man, I've gotta start doing that with my maps. The contrast between the two really does make it look a lot better.

EDIT: And here's a screenshot:

This area is supposed to feel a bit creepy, so hopefully this screenshot has that vibe.
It certainly gives off a creepy vibe.
One thing that irks me are the pitch-black trees. They seem a bit too sharp and pixelated at the upper half, which makes them look more like only shadows. Compare with the spruces.

NicoB's Let's Tries/Plays! *REQUEST YOUR GAME HERE!*

Hmm, I suppose there's some huge difference to just watching someone play it and actually playing it yourself.

But either way, jump-scares are cheap.

NicoB's Let's Tries/Plays! *REQUEST YOUR GAME HERE!*

Whoa, you actually finished that game?
I tried it once, but things were too random for me to even figure stuff out.
Especially with the random odds with various things. I opened up the game in the editor, but even that felt confusing.

If that was possible, I'd hope you would resume MGS. But since I haven't managed to fix any since last... I really should fix something at least, but I'm not really sure how to go about any longer.

Enjoying some of these other videos though!

What are you thinking about? (game development edition)

I really want to fix some things in my MGS-game to make it a more enjoyable experience for people since the difficulty seems to sometimes be a joy kill. But I'm finding it really hard to stretch some things and keep it working.
The things I've tried have just screwed up more than it's trying to fix.

I also find it more annoying to work in RPG-Maker after picking up Game Maker and other programming... So many things I wish I could use.

The Here and Now of Yesterday

Hey people, this might actually become some famous vapourware!
Jokes aside, it's been quite some time since the actual release were to be.
I don't mind waiting(hopefully not too much longer though), but I'm just curious as to how the game keeps getting postponed.
Every annoucement makes it sound like it's practically finished.

Advertisement in Games

I don't like advertisement in games. It's really annoying with pop-ups and such.
While I still don't like it, I find it more tolerable when the products appear in the game itself as product placement(as mentioned above).

Metal Gear Solid 4 seemed littered with Apple advertisement among else(you even obtained a usable iPod!). It's easier to ignore than a big fat message taking up part of the screen.

So some punks graffitotagged my fence...

Random mix of upper and lower case letters...!
ARGH! My brain is melting!
