How to check if a key is being held down?
I suppose I should point out that the hold key-option is not flawless. It wasn't in my game at least, judging by my own experience and several others.
I had a feature that charges an attack when you hold the button and maintains the state until released, but it would occasionally release the key-state when still holding the key. I first thought my code caused issues, but even something as simple as the code in the screen at the top had the weakness. Luckily enough, it's not a frequent problem. This was rm2k3.

How to make more than 4 character in party
Sorry, I don't think that's possible.
Four party members has been the max for as long as I know.
People usually add a feature manually that let's you choose your four members from an outside list if the number exceeds the arbitrary headcount.
To quickly add/remove members in the current party-setup, there's a command to use.
I think it's named Add/remove partymembers.
Attempting to add members beyond four will do nothing.

Shoul I give Dark Souls a chance?
Dark Souls sticks with its familiar formula pretty much.
Souls are the currency. You die, you go and retrieve it. You die before you retrieve it, it's gone.
As you mentioned, bonfires replaces the hub and archstones.
The game is more open-world and mostly the things stopping you from going out of order are difficulty barriers. The game is said to be harder, but so far it has kept itself similar to Demon's Souls.
I haven't played the whole of Dark Souls, but for me it still has that relentless difficulty that I'm having problems coping with.
But I suppose it has been refined quite a deal.

been adding lots of little details to the ship. Anyone have any cool ideas for a space/exploration rpg? Gameplay elements, locations anything?
That's just looking cooler each time I see it. Here's a few ideas I have:
- Upgrading and repairing the space ship. Like shields, turrets and hyper drive.
- Space pirates that attempt to board you.
- Exploring space debris and wrecks for valuable loot.
- Tactical space battles.
- Bounty hunting quests.
Alternatives to Towns
author=LockeZauthor=Feldschlacht IVNarshe totally didn't. The south end of the town was the front gate, and the north, west and east ends of the town went all the way up against the cliffs. There were a couple buildings up in the cliffs without doors, but that's not really the same thing. Meanwhile most of the towns in FF4 are entirely contained inside town walls, just to make absolutely sure that no one mistakenly thinks they keep going beyond what's shown. I know it's supposed to be just kind of a symbolic representation of the town; but actually doing what you said and making it look like it's a real representation of a small part of the town seems both less painful and more interesting.
Vector certainly did this. You can walk around in a fairly small part of what is assumed a large industrial metropolis. Even walking to the top of the Imperial Palace shows an industrial landscape in the background which you never access.
The same goes for Midgar I suppose. What I remember you only partially explore two or so sectors and that's mostly just the slums which is not the actual city.
In which country do you live.
Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion
author=1625974Just like that? No credit added? No after-dialogue? It just freezes?
I've never run into that, so it's weird that it would happen now...
Seriously, how glitchy is this game still...
Other people seem to run into glitches more often than I do, which makes it harder to proof-code.
Are you running the latest version of the game? I hope it's not too much to ask for, but could you test and see if it happens again?
The only reason I can think of is bad luck with the battle being finished in some very unlikely condition...
If not, perhaps I could borrow the save and see if I can replicate the problem.
How can I end a survival game and leave the player satisfyed?
I suppose you can make the character gain status. If you start low for just survival, perhaps you can climb high enough in society to stop the bare survival from being a concern and instead focus a bit more on receiving jobs for payment.
If there's no antagonist for the plot, focus on some other central event and perhaps just end it with some huge assignment where you resolve it. Starting low (or even rock-bottom) usually ends with climbing towards the top of the ladder of power.

Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion
author=1625974Sorry to say this, but there's not exactly a way around it, since you have to beat her. Make sure to go prepared.
I got stuck at medusa of legion. She's hard as crap and I've been stuck there for almost 2 months now. I wanna continue the story line but I can't because she has so much health.
Stocking up on Rations is one thing. You can also gear up by:
- Finding more LIFE-extensions
- Upgrading your handgun (doubles damage)
- Finding the Body Armor (cuts bullet-damage)
