A BLURRED LINE v2.1
The Journey
Clicking on the download brings up an internal system error. Not sure if anybody else is having this problem.
Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion
This looks pretty entertaining. The screenshot where he holds up his cigarettes looks funny. Can't wait to see what you've got.

Arcanion (Old) Review
Hmmm.... I swear I thought somebody complained about the RTP, and that's why I commented on it. I was trying to figure out what was RTP in this game aside from the normal side view battles. But I can no longer locate the comment. So my bad, I must have been inducing the wrong kind of happy pills that day.
But anyway, I don't think it was a great game, but better than I was led on to believe. But admittedly, the thing that hurt the most was how super easy the game was, and you almost never had to work for treasure and items, because they alway reappeared with random items every time you leave a dungeon and return. As for the story, I don't know, I was interested to see where it would go.
But regardless, the game's cancelled so it no longer matters.

"Ahoy mates, bring me a piece of quartz from the first dungeon in the game, bring it all the way back to me to proceed in your quest with no apparent rhyme or reason."
*pauses and looks to the ceiling, asking self whether or not to continue*
*closes game*

Honestly, why did the creator of this game even bother posting this on the site?
I'm a little late on this reply (very late) but don't worry, you didn't miss much. After bring back the quartz, the captain apparently doesn't think it's enough and also demands 1000 gold pieces, or whatever the currency is. And then you get on the ship and end up in the next town, and I guess that's where the demo ends because... well, noboby to talk to in the next village, you can't leave the village except to bo back to the previous plains where you first got the boat, and you can't enter any of the dwellings in this new town. The designer didn't even have the courtesy to say the demo is over.

Yeah, the sad thing is, the game was fairly coherent and I didn't see too many issues in regards to bugs/errors/etc. And the story, although cliched, wasn't terrible.
The problem was the gameplay. It was extremely boring. You fight the same monsters over and over who seldom ever pose a threat. You run fetch quest errands that don't really make much sense. Mapping is very bland. Several areas looked like the mapping from previous screens were reused. Case in point, the first cave was very similar to the second cave, to the point that the character even acknowledged this and said it should be easier to navigate as a result. Not sure if this was an attempt at humor or not. The first two villages look exactly alike. Again, a half-baked attempt at explaining this was the reason the secondary character got lost, but it felt as if the designer was too lazy to come up with new maps and tried to make an excuse by inserting some vague comment in the game. Speaking of which, the caves looked like nothing more than a slightly hyped up version of the generator. And the plains outside the first village look nearly the same as the plains in the next screen (cliff, tree, bridge placements and all), and looks similar to the plains in the screen after that.
The worst of it is, once you get passed these boring plains, villages, cliffs, etc., some yo-yo captain demands you to go all the way back (by walking, apparently no way to teleport) and revisit the first cave for some quartz. So yeah, the gameplay consists mainly of running back and forth.

Wait, what?
I didn't quite understand your post, but just because you like it doesn't mean they have to finish it any faster. Otherwise, we would all have had our "Line's End" long ago... still waiting for that. But to be honest, I haven't seen much of an update on this in a few months, so I'm not even sure where it's standing right now. But regardless, this just goes in line with the posts I've read recently in the forums about people overhyped for a game that doesn't (and may never) exist, verses games that are available.
Yes, I'm looking forward to this, but there are so many available games that I feel that when the time is right, this will be released, and if not, well at least I didn't waste my time standing around waiting.
