Piracy, Why?
I don't like to pirate movies or TV because that is where I want to make my living. However, of course I use sites like Surf the Channel and such because, hey, why the hell not?
If I really like something, though, I try and support the creators by purchasing it at some point.
As for music, they have some kind of a filter in my school network that makes it impossible to download songs with Limewire and the like. So I don't steal music as often as I'd like :P

I think you have really intelligent and thoughtful posts. Internet drama happens. The internet is full of drama, and sometimes things get said and done that, you know, would never be said or done IRL. So I really hope you take it with a grain of salt - I think everyone knows from personal experience that internet drama can be extremely hurtful, but things will probably blow over soon enough.
Like you said, you're still a game maker. Just because you aren't a "contributor" right now doesn't mean you can't still give yourself whole-heartedly to the community. If you go, though, this place will definitely feel the loss.
Anyway, I hope things look better in the morning.

Okay, I downloaded this, but when I went to install it and play it wouldn't open and cited a resource error. Strangely, though, the only file I had was the Audio file so I think something went wrong with the download...
I'll try it again, I guess, just thought I'd mention it.
EDIT: Nevermind, it says you need the RMVX RTP right up there in your post. *headdesk*.
Yeah, I made that mistake too. I was all confused until Max patiently told me to download the RTP. D'oh!

I don't get why boys can't ask girls out. What's the worst that could happen? She says no, and you're in the same situation you're in now - single. No one is going to put you in prison or send a dragon to eat you.
False! If you ask a girl out, then every freaking girl that knows the girl you asked out will stop you somewhere along the line in school and bring it up and pretty much make you feel like crap because they continue to bring up that she said no. Or ask you really annoying questions that you really don't want to answer to the lesser crowd of intelligence. Not a fun experience if you like a girl for a long time.
