No, I haven't it's probably only region-specific, like where I work.
It's not, at least not in the mid to northern part of the US. I know, because I've lived in Oregon, Colorado, and NY, and eaten Cinnabon all across the united states!!!

I think the same can be said for 80% of the people here, except for those who already got published :P (not counting the visual artists and coders though.)
My greatest ambition in life is to be the biggest sellout in the world, buy a house, and support my family. There. I said it. The farthest I intend to go with my writing career is writing for soap operas and publishing romance novels under a penname, but most likely I'll just end up getting my MBA in Marketing and writing copy for the rest of my life. YAY DREAMS.

Well, put it in perspective for me, would you say that...Beyonce for example is curvy or has too much of a booty?
Outwardly, she's got a very nice body... and I'm sure she's probably pretty happy with it!
But for girls (especially white girls, who aren't "supposed" to have butts like that) with that figure, it can be pretty frustrating, for a lot of reasons. The most of which is that jeans are made for "pancake asses," so if you have a small waist and a large butt, you can't fit into them... either the larges fall off your waist or you can't fit the smalls because of guess-what.
I've personally been complimented on my butt, but it doesn't mean I like it on me. It's like how I find my boyfriend's eyes very nice but he thinks they're "poop-colored" and hates them. >.>

Some women do have (naturally) child-baring figures, which tends to mean they are curvier (wider hips etc. for obvious reasons), but I don't think more white girls are becoming curvy because more white girls are (naturally) developing with child-baring figures. I think it's simply a result of black culture becoming more mainstream and so more white girls are wanting to look curvier because it is seen as more attractive.
I don't know a single while girl with a large lower figure (myself included) who doesn't HATE IT. I'm not kidding. The only girls I know who love their round butts/wide hips are at least half-black. Those of us of the more celtic persuasion are pretty pouty about it.
Also, no, we don't control weight displacement. So when we pig out on ice cream, no one is willing that to go to our behinds (mostly we're praying it will go to our breasts :P).

I assume one must walk the fine line between constantly saying "Ooh, I'm so fat, I'm so ugly," and saying "I'm so much better looking than you, you are a waste of my time."
Modesty + confidence is attractive. Anything on either end of the spectrum is ugly.
Yeah, that's true, but it doesn't really address what I mean! There's a difference between confidence ("I'm a great person and really worthwhile!") and knowing you're really attractive ("I am consciously aware I am really attractive.").

This is only a half-joke. A lot of times, less good-looking girls are very self-conscious about it and really are not confident in themselves as PEOPLE, because of how they look. If you ask a girl "what do you want to change about yourself," she won't say "my temper," she'll say "my thighs." OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS, but generally they are just that, exceptions, and not the rule.
However, there are those butt-ugly girls who think they're hot stuff (I've been a roommate with one). Sometimes, despite their butt-ugliness, it is this constant assertion and attitude that they're the sexiest thing on the planet that gets them laid.
However, the more confident in her looks an average girl is (and thus, the more effort she puts into it ), I guess the more physically attractive she will be.
But I personally like the kind of girl who doesn't know she's beautiful... the kind of girl who's lovely in an earthy kind of way, not fake or glamorous, but naturally well-put-together.
