What the HELL is THIS shit?!

I'm going to take the script for The Wizard, wipe my ass with it and have it starring Frankie Muniz and see where that gets me as far as remakes of old movies go.
I have the strong feeling that you'd sell that to Hollywood before I ever sold any of my original screenplays.

I have no tattoos. But, if I were to get one, I'd want it to be funny.
For example, if I were to get one, I would put the numbers to a telephone on my index, middle, and ring finger of my left hand. So when I'm talking to someone, I can be all like "hang on, I gotta make a call". That would be funny.
No, you do not want a funny tattoo.
Why not? Exlpain, please.
Abley still hasn't answered my question. ^
It will cease to be funny.
My ex wanted to get a tattoo of the "parental advisory warning" symbol, for the LULZ, but he also wanted to wait on it until he a) had a comedy album out and b) received said symbol on his album. It meant something real and personal and withstanding to him. Yet to happen, but still.
Something that does not mean as much to you shouldn't go permanently on your body.

I'm not morally against it, but I think in many situations it's just lame. Art is supposed to reflect something that the artist is trying to reflect, and if the artist is trying to reflect a sexy anime girl with ridiculous proportions, then... they're not saying anything too positive about themselves, and is giving off the image of being alienated and detached. If it's more in the vein of life drawing and trying to master drawing the human body and showing the soul or mind beneath the body, then it's different. .
QFT.
This is what I meant by porn vs. art. I take issue (similar to Canuck's it seems) with people confusing the two. He just put it better than I could.

Here is a good item that crosses the line at some points - pinups.
I have long been a fan of the pinup. They are sexy, voluptuous, interesting, fun, and beautiful. My boyfriend got me, among many other gifts, a beautiful pinup art calendar. None of these are photos, they're all paintings, and I love looking at them. But do I find them arousing? No. I intellectually know, these girls are sexy. But Not viscerally.
The opposite occurs when I view good porn (bad porn or even average porn just brings me to hysterics). I think you guys understand my point.
Anyway, I'm not really a prude about images or even films. Like I said, as long as no one is hurt, I don't find nudity offensive. (In person is quite another story, my roommate's boyfriend is quite often nude and it REALLY upsets me : ()

Nudity in Art and Nudity in Porn are TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
I am okay with both of them. But I like to get things straight here.
No offense, Mitsuhide, but what you described in your original post was, in fact, porn. Drawing something because you are attracted to it/hope others will be is porn. If it is drawn to entice people in a sexual way, it is porn.
Examples of NOT porn:
The Venus
The David
As I said, I have no problem with porn. If everyone involved is consenting (or better, drawn), then it's not harming a single person. Humans have natural urges, and it's better to release those urges than deny them.
But nudity for the sake of displaying the art of the human form and nudity for the sake of drawing hot naked girls, they're very different.

I actually really remember liking the original version of this film and am annoyed to see it so utterly dumbed down by Disney or whoever is producing it. >=[
...Uhh...
I hope you were being facetious.
(P.S. The original 1975 Witch Mountain movie WAS IN FACT A DISNEY FILM.)
What are you thinking about right now?

I'm now thinking how pathetic a sport American football is. On the level of sports suckage it is right down there with pro "wrestling" and figure skating.
Any reasons?
He's just jealous that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the colonies can run rings around England in any sport they ever invented, except possibly Court Tennis, but no one plays that.
What the HELL is THIS shit?!
So, uh..this pissed me off...
FTR, TFT is an idiot who makes up for his miserable existence by annoying the piss out of everyone at RMN. And GW. And anywhere else he happens to go.
This.
Tattoos
Looks like it, Brandon.
I feel this way about SOME tattoos. Like the ones that are of passing fads, things people have a current interest in. I designed both of mine with this in mind.
Both of them are easily hidden, so if I don't want my grandkids to see them, they wont. One is on my left hip and the other is between my shoulderblades.
Both of them are on the bone, so there won't be stretching. I have a girl friend who got a big one on the area just above her breasts, and I feel this is a TERRIBLE IDEA because a) it is very hard to keep hidden and b) she will sag one day and her tattoo will be ruined.
Both are things I will never outgrow. One is my family crest, with a gryphon above it (a very significant animal for me). The other is a memorial tattoo of a Daisy, with the words "NUNC" and "SEMPER" (now and forever). It is representative of the people I have loved and lost (Grandparents, a teacher who passed away from Leukemia, a friend who committed suicide) and the fragile nature of life. It reminds me to be grateful every day for what I have and always say goodbye with love, in case it's the last time.
I'm thinking of getting a few more, but I don't know if I can truly justify it.
Ink is super super addictive, though. : )

I have to say that I don't understand the appeal of tattoos. Will they still be cool when you're 65? 50? or even 30?
