Hearts stars and mushrooms, clovers and blue moons!
Seriously, that is very, very elegant and smooth but incredibly sparkly. I like it but can't imagine how confused someone would feel seeing it appear before the opening scenes of say Backstage or Ruptured souls.
I'm curious what Oto thinks.
I'd just hope the leaves were more spooky than sparkly... but yeah, it is a little, well...
LOGO QUEST CONTEST (Massive EXP Bonus)
Here's my shot. Not a lot different than what you had... also a little girly... but it's what I came up with. Hopefully it will get the ball rolling.

I don't think I've had soda in 4 or 5 years...
Jasmine Green Tea or Chai with milk and cinnamon are the ways to go.
I just popped in to say that these are also my favorite drinks.
:o
Also Oscar Wilde is the sh*t.
News Flash with Kermit the Frog [7 Reasons the 21st Century is Making You Miserable]
From what I heard about Brazil, they should be blaming THEMSELVES. Not the PEOPLE of Brazil, but the leaders. From my understanding, there's a larger poor-rich gap there than in America, and that folks in giant mansions live right up near slums full of homeless people (and the rich there do nothing to help the crisis or the poverty). I also heard that their leaders gave a lot away for free (i.e. without raising any taxes) and fell into a huge amount of debt that they now expect their poor citizens to pay back.
This is all just stuff I've heard from people who visited though, so I could be wrong...
However, if your country falls into economic disarray, it's probably got something to do with who is leading the country, not any other country in the world.

What is your favorite type of girl (anime or otherwise)
Harmonic - good Magdalena inclusion, but don't overlook the rest of Top Cow Canon - both Sara Pezzini and the newest Witchblade are super hot too :D
In that vein, I love Mobsters who are also demons.
I haven't really watched anime in an "OMG HE'S SO HOT" mindset since I was... 15... but if I was to look back into the dark annals of my past, I'd say that I'm into Gay Cops.
In terms of personality, villainous douchebags are more my thing, but I can go in for the quiet, shy intellectual type, as long as he's badass (think Dr. Jones).

Don't Smoke and Raid - Moronic Forum Edition
Just putting aside the hypotheticals for a moment, as someone who has actually a) been around people when they were smoking weed and b) not been smoking it myself, I can conclusively say that I did not get high. ESPECIALLY not in an outdoor area.
I am sad that I'm not at home when they're trying to dispose of that weed. : ( I would take it off their hands :P. Although they could just punt it into Boulder and never see it again...
Weed has killed like 90% (this is a guess, but I'd even hazard to say 100%) less people than booze or cigarettes. Sure, someone who has never smoked anything ever will be more healthy than someone who smokes weed, but someone who smokes weed will be MUCH healthier than someone who smokes cigarettes, or drinks with the same frequency. And then you can always eat weed, which is so much more healthy than smoking a cigarette they're not even in the same league.
I have said it before, but a bona fide PHYSICIAN (with a PHD and everything) told my friend that it was healthier for him to smoke weed once a month than go into a bar with second hand smoke every week (not actually smoking the cigarettes). So if you choose to believe anyone in this discussion, please believe the Actual Doctor.
I don't smoke weed very often, perhaps twice a year. It hurts my Asthma. But I still believe that it's basically the most harmless intoxicant we have available to us, except for caffiene.

'Important Discussion' time guys...

MODIFY: holy gazoomba, I just realized that I made an excellent example of a tongue-in-cheek half-relevant comment.
:o
Well, I guess I'll offer myself up to the slaughter first, seeing as how I have two of 'em. Now the only posters left will be the YY's, like that prison ship in Alien 3.
Uh, but yeah, this is kind of how these things get started.
'Important Discussion' time guys...
I noticed a lot of arguments can be avoided by people taking things less personally. It seems like how these things go is that there is a topic, and then this happens:
Person x: *Tongue-in-cheek half-relevant comment*
Person y: Hey that's an asshole thing to say and you're wrong because *giant wall of text.*
Person x: I was just joking around, but now that you've posted *giant wall of text* I will now respond to your text wall with a bulleted rebuttal.
Person y: I will now respond to YOUR rebuttal!
Person who started the thread: Um...?
Person z: No, (person x/person y) is totally correct, and here is another *giant wall of text* explaining why!
Lots of other People: I have something to say about this argument!
Person who started the thread: Uh... can we just lock this please?
Add in a healthy amount of snark and ego and the inability to distinguish a joke from seriousness and voila! You have yourself a ruined thread.

End The 2009 Misaos Do (Results Are In!)
I wasn't referring to the rule itself or how "honorable" it is to vote for yourself or not.
The term "honor-system" means that you follow the rule even if nothing is making you do so. Example:
"Would everyone only take one slice of cake? We're on the honor system here but we don't have all that much cake to go around."
Taking two slices of cake is neither honorable or dishonorable. (Potentially glutinous, yes, but not dishonorable.) But the person serving cake is not going around measuring out how many slices everyone gets, or monitoring who has finished a slice, so the people at the gathering are on the "honor system." This means they can follow the rules even when there is no one to force them to do so, or they can take another slice of cake.
The people who vote for the Misaos are, currently, on the "honor system" because there is nothing stopping them from voting for themselves except for a request not to do so.
Further Definitions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honor_system
With this system what is "honorable" is following the rule, NOT THE RULE ITSELF, because the assumption is that everyone else will be following it as well. It doesn't matter what the rule is - if it is that everyone must bark like a seal when voting for the Misaos, it is still on the "HONOR SYSTEM" because NO ONE IS ENFORCING IT.
