And... that 10% that can understand Spanish should have the same rights as the English ones... You're just making it seem like you're superior and everything else should be banned, which is not right.
it's an english website though...so i guess they don't exactly have the same 'rights' if that's what you want to call it. you can't go around posting in spanish on the forums...well i mean you could, but it's just kind of rude, don't you think?
im not huge on this issue because you can just use google translate, just seems a bit backward to let non-english reviews pass seeing as we've been going over the issue of ensuring people actually read a review instead of just looking at the score for ages. ofc it's different if the game/author speaks the other language.

it both broadenings the site's potential audience and pisses off simpletons who can't be bothered to learn a language that's not all that hard to learn.
hah, are you kidding me! not all that hard to learn? learning a language fluently takes fucking years. we can't all be linguists.

Cavern of Doom Review

but like 90% of the userbase can't understand this. alterego has a point.

What are you thinking about right now?

twice and them both being women isn't exactly damning on the entire gender mate. don't blame it on the sex, just bad drivers.

London Riots

In that case, welcome to reality, UK. My tuition went up like 30 percent over my four years.
try it being raised by 200% and then get back to me

@newblack that is pretty awesome :)

London Riots

whatevs man, it's all a mess, was crossing my fingers for AV too. i didn't have high hopes on that tbf, even some friends were voting no just because they wanted to vote and didn't understand what the AV system was.
people seriously need to start understanding politics, at least the bare essentials of it, i've met too many people who just joke about it like it doesn't matter (well most party's are pretty much the same these days but still!), yet i can't bring myself to talking to them about it because it's this kind of forbidden topic.

Cops need to just start killing people.
why have i read this comment so many times in the past two days, people are sounding like the Daily Mail.
genuinely shocked so many are suggesting killing to solve criminal damage/burglary. to solve anything, in fact.

police are disliked enough as it is, you give them the power to kill rioters and bloody hell they're in for a whole lot more enemies.

London Riots

yeah some guy was shot in the face down in Chapel Town. i get that 95% of these rioters aren't exactly trying to make any kind of political statement, but it's no surprise that when there are a million cuts, raising education fees and in general the poor are getting the short end of the stick (surprise surprise, tories - the government we didn't vote for), rioting breaks out.

not condoning it at all and most of them are brainless thugs, but it's the general shitty situation families have been put in, people are angry and it's an excuse. i'm pretty angry, the cuts for my mums job are going to be absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for (she's a legal aider, they get paid very little as it is for doing a morally better job) yet the government still manages to waste money on absolute shite every month. whenever i hear David Cameron's voice i get pissed off tbh haha.

so anyway, yeah, most of them are idiots and opportunists but i really do think the government's recent choices are a large factor.

edit: lol just found out the shooting in Chapel Town had nothing to do with riots, it was just Chapel Town being Chapel Town

A Psychological Inquiry - The difference between submission and selflessness

oh i see, i didn't know that.
but then why does it seem like waiters/waitresses act like if you don't tip you're the devil when apparently they're getting minimum wage and more? you don't see that in many other customer service positions.

A Psychological Inquiry - The difference between submission and selflessness

employers should pay the employees the amount their job is worth instead of shifting the burden/responsibily onto the customers. this paying under minimum wage and expecting staff to be able to make up for it through tips sounds kinda shocking.

plus this 20% tip thing is unfair in regards to buying more expensive food. some dude buys a really expensive wine and gets charged exceptionally more than a guy who buys orange juice. it isn't like the waiter has tried harder either way yet they'll expect a larger tip from the wine person? am i getting this right? sounds silly.

Hide your lolis
