Not entirely luck per se - more like a minimum effort application. I went to a 24 hour programming competition that the bank was hosting, was offered a place at an assessment centre at the end of it (so by-passed the online testing and first round interview stages), breezed through that assessment centre (which was barely technical) and now I've got a place after I graduate.
I never actually intended to apply, so this is still a bit of a shock! Only problem now is I'm going to have to relocate to either the south of England....or Glasgow, Scotland. Decisions, decisions...
Based on that, inadvertent isn't quite the right term to explain your outcome. Unexpected or surprising is more like it. Anyway, congrats on securing a job before graduating. Seems you have a major decision on your hands regarding your new neck of the woods. Either choice sounds sexy, though ...

Yeah, if I remember correctly once you had gotten hit by the powerful attack, you knew what to look for the next time around. I think I made to beat it with just Lyka, since Ashen was lost for the rest of the fight.

Hey, sweet. Second place is pretty good for a rookie, haha. I'm a little surprised Rust and Blood wasn't at least in the top three, though. I thought that one did the best job of actually being scary.

Game Length: Is it possible to make your game too long?
Long games aren't for everyone ... most people nowadays (I'm don't consider myself among them) want instant gratification. Must be the ADD in action or people just seem to busy to want to get engaged in such a lengthy game!

Wow, I'm shocked to say the least. I was not expecting that in the least. Now I'm doubly sad that Maki got called into work and is not here right now.

Congrats, Racheal and MK! Now I MUST do a better LP! of HB to celebrate this accomplishment. While I'm still have a lingering cough after my flu, hopefully I'll hold out long enough to make justice for it. And after that, I promise to do an actual review of the game ...
