How did you get those 1000 MS? :O
A one-time MS boost from donating to RMN's server fund... I'm surprised you haven't heard about it, MrD!
Just go through a hectic week with a weakening flu and long workdays ...
That said, in addition to getting healthier (hopefully I can sleep through the night instead of waking up around 3 AM as I have the last few days feeling hot, even though I don't have a fever and being unable to go back to sleep), doing some shopping (maybe there's a LED TV in store for me later today??) and some cultural activities (going to a used book and MirĂ³ exhibit, at least). Also, will try to do minimal driving this weekend, again ...
Last but not, I'll start to play some AHE games to finally do the review/LP in time to enter the giveaway as well as starting my feedback post for all entries to the Event ...

Jaguars Win!

Pfft, so what, they beat the Titans. EVERYBODY can beat the Titans nowadays.
It'll take them more than a single Music City miracle for them to make the playoffs. Also, the Bucs won as well!

I have to ask, why is the one guy transparent?
Yeah, is he a ghost or a vision of sorts?
Advance System Pro Care/Systweak/Cleverbridge
ADVANCE SYSTEM PRO CARE is made by Iobit and is actually a reputable company (About Iobit) and the app is highly rated and popular @ Cnet (ASC Review (Review of the Free Version of the App). I actually ASPC for free in a givewaway not long ago and can say the app works as advertised. Plus, by itself doesn't can't a virus or malware (DotTech said an older version of the program appeared to be clean.
).
SYSTWEAK (http://www.systweak.com/About-Company/AboutUs/) is an Indian development company that's a Microsoft Gold ISV Partner (http://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-IN/partners/Systweak-India-4295548206?LocId=-1), which probably means they don't include viruses or malware in their apps.
CLEVERBRIDGE (http://www.cleverbridge.com/corporate/company/about) seems to be a company that processes payments for software companies.
Basically, you weren't dealing with one single company but several of them. So what software caused your and what exactly happened to make you think there was a virus or malware?
Based on what I see, I suspect if anything the Systweak software is the culprit (not because they're Indian, but rather because their software looks and sounds somewhat less professional than Iobit's). That is unless Cleverbridge actually delivers the program to install as well and takes the liberty of adding on opt-in software (crapware!) that most users probably would end up installing if they're careless during installation by just pressing "Next" (or whatever the right-hand most button is during each dialog prompt) without reading.
You're welcome! (Readies the molotov cocktails and tear gas bombs for deployment ...)
And no, you don't need to be a geek to inform yourself. (All of this was done with Google search, although I already did know about ASCP, IoBit and DotTech).

I have no idea what I want to do. JOY!
The humiliating part that you won a giveaway from august and you just found out about it today.
OK, what I don't is what's "humiliating" about not knowing about it? It doesn't seem to be your fault.
Have you considered tweeting him? That'll cause him to respond @ least with some sort of excuse (or more likely own up to his promised giveaway) or disappear from the Internet altogether (which is HIGHLY unlikely, since some people are shameless).

Guys, incoming. Cupquake just LP'd Pom. Looks like PgW is going to the next level... OVER 9000!
author=Ratty524author=kentonaIt's not the little cup-shaped cakes smothered in sweet frosting and sprinkles that I adore so much, is it? (DAMMIT NOW I HAVE A CRAVING! Mmmmmm...!)
What is Cupquake?
Personally, I feel like playing a deathmatch ...
