[2k3] Locating the save data on Win 7
So, I am here to ask a simple question that puzzles me that has occured when I was working on my project; In rm2k3 on windows 7 64 bit when you run it out of admin mode it saves the data elsewhere and in admin mode it saves the date in Rpg maker 2003 file. Well, as it would occur, I was working in rm2k3 without realizing this and one day tried to locate the data's file so I could create a demo, when I realized that it is nowhere to be found!
Upon loading it in Admin mode, I found that all of my work on the project for the last two months was gone! More then that, the save data of the game in the program folder was that of it two months ago! So to no avail after a hour in google, I found that I need to work with admin mode enabled. However, I do not want to lose 2 months worth of work so where is the game data stored at when it is not running under admin? The editor loads it, so it must be kept somewhere.

A very certain room, withing a very certain place. Possibly one of my more strange ideas, to start the game with a "Caretaker" discussing how you the player are looking in, and how he alone can see you as well because he exists within your ego by the time you looked upon him.
This might be the most brilliant tutorial/intro thingie I have ever made. If you are wondering, those purple tiles are "velvet". It will only be used for special places where the game breaks the fourth wall.

@Lotus: Hmm... I like the systems I see, but some of the textures of the world just are not appealing to me at all.

@Nightowl: At first it was just me fooling around in paint.net seeing what I could do to make a platformer(So basically the tiles are inspired by minecraft) , and then I realized how I could make a style of its own by meshing it with Dragon Quest-esquese sprites(Also made as a joke at first). And the result? A fascinating setup where I have began to create a 2d platform puzzler (The result of me being seeming unable to get a good jumping system to work. More gameplay in a rpg this way as well.) The minimalist style will let me focus on what really matters: The gameplay not obscured by difficult mapping.

@UPRC: Alrighty, I tried to change the texture of the block to look more leafy, as you put it. XD The second you mentioned how it look liked rtp water tiles, it started to look like rtp water instead of the top of a tree.
Also, I agree your map looks FAR too busy.
So this is how my bridge came out, along with the new texture of the tree leaf block. XD I really suck at textures, but I have to say this: I never thought how hard it is to make a river look right in 2d. It is a pain in a side view like this to make it look decent.

I finished the small desert where the mechanic that will build the miner armor suit will be located. I am happy how the sand and lava came out, but I might change the stairs with dunes.

The town now has npcs, all custom sprites that look like the old dragon quest sprites, in the same style. Yawn. Also, Gravel has been introduced.

Find an intelligent way to fix it, this way the only thing I can see is you being banned from the website.
The inteligent method is what I used: Post my first thoughts and complaints on the subject, then find the relevant topic and post there to flush out the admin of the channel. After sending some quick messages about, relegate it back to Karsuman and await the awnser. There is no flaw to my logic of how to get the problem resolved, nor is it not inteligent.
Besides, do you really think someone will be banned for asking for a straight answer?
