KITTEN2021'S PROFILE

kitten2021
Returning from RMVX Death
1093
It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.

I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.

Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

Ahaha, it did not take long at all. Surprised you are even THAT on top of people posting things.
I have always been very careful to pay close attention to everyone that posts on my game page; I have a strong belief that if anyone is willing to take time out of their own lives to post or comment on my page then they at least deserve as quick of a response as I am able to provide. To me, that shows that you actually care... (Of course, I can't always post immediately, but you get my point.)

Pertaining to the monster:
There is supposed to be a black object in the smoke, and I can't see it so I'm going to assume you guys can't either... I had thought it was just my end. Back to the drawing board once more... -.-

And as for the tree's, those were just place holders that I was testing with. Those have been removed... I didn't like them because of exactly what Sailerius is saying, they don't match at all with the rest of graphics.

Sorry for the late reply, was dealing with things...

Title.png

Illustrious, you have made a very powerful and accurate point that I have been blatantly ignoring or just forgetting...

I have been extremely frustrated with the game itself, and therefore I had stepped away from it and did other things until I could figure out a problem I had been having. Thus is the reason I had been dealing with images for the game instead... (Or making other games - which really, I shouldn't have, but it helped me in more ways than one - which it should also help me with this game, so I guess that one is ok.)

I should make an appropriate apology for this laziness and inappropriateness, but I figure the best way to apologize to everyone would be to actually post images of places I'm working on. New images will be posted by the end of either today or (due to the holiday and work) by the end of this week...

Thank you for reminding me, Illustrious, about what I really should be concentrating on and what I really should be doing. The problem I had with the game has been "mostly" thought out and resolved, its just the lay-out that I'm now having issues with. Thanks and my apologies everyone...

Monsters_on_Field.png

Ah, I see what your talking about; the tree's on the left are what are actually being used, the other two you see there were only there for testing purposes. I just never removed them...

What did you think about the monster though...?

This is beautiful, actually.

<3 Thank you very much, Max; a lot of the credit goes to khos. :3

About the font, why not use the same font that you used for the logo?

I had actually thought the same thing when I was making this, so I attempted to use it, but you couldn't make the text our too well due to how thin the text is.
I ended up going with something thicker, I don't really like the font on the other version of this either, just because of how thin some areas of it is.

This is a test image for the new title for the game... I'm testing between this image and the other image like this one I posted. I'm wanting to know which one everyone likes best before I take it a make it smaller.

Info about the image:
As posted above, this image was originally made by our very own beloved khos and he had it posted at Deviantart.com, here: Sci fi 1.

As you can tell, there has been a massive amount of changes made between his image and my image above (thank you Photoshop). Personally, I would have preferred to use his image completely, but I couldn't keep the sci fi stuff in there since my game has nothing to do with that. But, to remove the sci fi stuff also meant I would have to lose the moon - I'm not that talented with Photoshop just yet folks.

I wanted to go with one of the main travel-to places as the "city" in the background (the black blotch you see), the name I intend to keep hidden for a real long time for now - but don't fret, the place is in the works already and you "might" see images of it eventually.

Permissions:
The image by khos was a beautiful peace of art and I sent out a request to him to ensure he had no issue with it being used by me; I have received his approval to use it should anyone wish to know.

What are you thinking about right now?

Look, I generally stay out of these meaningless debates and ridiculous

...moments, but I wanted to just throw my two cents in there real quick before hopefully getting this at one point in time great thread moving back along to where it does belong.

Firstly, glad to see you posting WIP, I honestly don't give a rats crapper about what anyone has to say, I appreciated your leadership when you were here and was greatly saddened when you resigned (a lot more than you would think). You were, above all others here, always the nicest person to me whenever I ever had an issue... You were the only person that ever remembered me when I went into the mIRC channels and spoke, everyone else would always ask who I was - even though I'd been going on there since around 2007. You always made it a point to remember... Thank you. <3

On the matter of Magi and the others: Magi did something stupid and wrong, he/she (could never remember) did something stupid and rubbed it in the MODs faces and then threw it around for everyone else to see as far as I can tell (and yes, I've read everything since page 372 forward). Do I care? Personally, I'm not a MOD, so I really didn't get effected by his/her stupidity, so no.

Particularly to the MODs of RMN: You had a right to stand up and take care of what has apparently been a problem for a while; how you handled it was up to you, your the MODs. Being a MOD (and I would know, I was one for a loooong time elsewhere) is a blasted, freakin' hard job, its not all sunshine and roses and playing as everyone else seems to think it really is. When you have problems like these, the "out-siders" (as I grew to call everyone that wasn't in the MOD network of things) will always see your actions that were collaboratively thought through by the MOD group and thoroughly discussed as a wrong action, no matter what you do or say. This was a correct move by all of you, imho (once again, due to my own previous experiences), and it doesn't matter how you place it here, its still going to be un-appreciated. I say just drop it.

To the banned: I, for one, will always miss SLuv... I was a very large fan. As for Tardis... You will never be replaced, I don't give a crap on what anyone says... Goodbye. Magi... I didn't know you well, sorry.

Any other comments made about all of this, imo, should either force this thread to be locked or even deleted. Its just one of the things that some times needs to happen... Everyone here was originally asked to not debate it here, yet they did; the MODs were nice enough to answer the questions, now everyone's just throwing crap around. THAT is why they didn't want it brought up here. Of course, I can't tell the MODs what to do with the site, I'm just am apparent no-body that's been here for years that doesn't have any power. I actually prefer it that way, thank you very much. But, I still strongly believe this suggestion and am requesting the MODs take it into consideration. I'm not going to throw my two bits in any further, I'm done, thank you and sorry for any offense this may cause - but, please ask me if I care? I'll tell you (I'm quite blunt), I assure you.

NOW can we please get this moving or risk having the thread locked due to it veering too far off topic or off the threads general meaning? Thank you.

My thoughts?
How am I going to ever get Eriscadia out as a demo on time when I can't get the simplest of things to work!?

Test_MarysHome_BordersNoBorders.png

It is a very common practice, true; however, what my concern was the speed difference this is going to add to my game. I can make chip-set items into events, no problem there, its just the speed that concerns me.
