I notice they have Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GameCube. Score.

That game was so terrible. I think I lasted about 15 minutes :(

There is also no game DVD, but a blank CDR. I am going back there today at lunch and am going to raise hell.

That is incredibly awesome. Tragic, too, but awesome. I don't think I've ever heard of this happening! If you want we can discuss we lending you my copy if you can't find it.

Sorry. Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I was a little incredulous during the bizarre sex scene in the woods and I thought that would have been a starvation hallucination or something but when it turned out to be real I was pretty disappointed. I generally don't like vividly described sex scenes in novels because they seem pornographic in my opinion. I prefer a more vague description (i.e.: They made love throughout the night and into the early morning). Incidentally, it seems like only male authors and pop trash writers like Danielle Steele write those sorts of pornographic scenes and I'm starting to think that male authors in general are extremely mysoginistic.

Forbes’ lists the richest fictional characters

I believe that since the King of All Cosmos actually owns the different worlds that all of these characters inhabit that he is the richest fictional character.

Also, he has the biggest package.

Also make sure you use the import tool if you are using an RPGMaker program so that the image is properly optimized and copied to the right place.

It also happens to be one of the best books I've ever read.

"It" being . . . ? I hope you aren't talking about the 80s Stephen King novel starring Sweet Tooth.

Heath Ledger is Dead!

Yeah, i think he had trouble a lot with sleeping and was only getting a few hours a night of sleep. Still, he shouldn't have gone overboard with the pills.

There are a lot of rumors and stuff out there, but I believe that he had been suffering from massive depression and insomnia for months; he had self-admittedly been funneling that negative energy into his performance as the Joker but that was over quite a long time ago. It's pretty easy to feel self-destructive when you are intensely unhappy like that.

It's really too bad because he was emerging as a daring and extremely talented young actor. He could have been one of cinema's greats, and his role in Dark Knight would have probably been a wonderful prelude to an incredible career.

If not, i suggest that you look at yourself in the mirror and say

"Shit, I am gay :o" ;)

I am pretty sure Craze had that revelation a long time ago.

Lost Odyssey.

God you posted the same thread at Gaming World. You should have warned us. Also, this is an example of why video game companies see forums and game communities as free marketing for their games. A marketing pamphlet could not have been more informative.

This is not going multi-platform because Microsoft funded its development and it's published by Microsoft Game Studios. It's the same way that Bungie is no longer owned by Microsoft but you will never see Halo 3 ported to PS3.

Anyway this is what I said at Gaming World:

I am personally really looking forward to this game. It's one of the first games that I've preordered for a long time (I do not anticipate retailers ordering a massive quanitity of copies). I couldn't really care less about the "emotional experience" that this game might might to provide or any sort of story it might try to tell because I am completely convinced that videogames will never really tell competent stories. I'm looking forward to the sorts of strategic gameplay, number-crunching, character customization, and exploration of exotic environments that Japanese RPGs and especially Final Fantasy games (let's not kid ourselves here) are always reliable for.

While we are on the topic of recommending books as inspiration, I suggest you look at James Lee Burke's crime novels for some of the most basically effective pop writing I've ever read. Also, Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth offers a very historically informed look at the medieval period, rather than being a fantasy novel, and might give you ideas to make your fantasy worlds feel much more alive.

Ethereal Dreams

Well you've got piles of really creative art with a ton of personality and you seem to have an interesting featureset. I have to get cracking on homework and should probably not be online at a forum right now but I definitely have to try this sometime!
