[Full] Backstage & [Demo] Backstage II THE DAY OF ROCKENING/THE ARROCKALYPSE IS AT HAND

Wow that is weird.

Words you know, but don't know the meaning of

augur
1. one of a group of ancient Roman officials charged with observing and interpreting omens for guidance in public affairs.

Sweet. I knew the meaning of this word from bad fantasy novels (fortune-teller) but not where it originally came from. Also, it can be used as a verb: To augur future events.

Brandon:

I am (2.) of vocabulary. I challenge anyone to stump me on a word's meaning without using outside resources. Just anything you can come up with off the top of your head.

Well . . .

There is nothing magical about having a large vocabulary. It just means you are a bigger, fatter loser than us cool kids. Also that you probably read more often. So you are still using it incorrectly!

Why so much hate for episode 6 you guys.

The audio is SUPER BAD. Depending on your audio setup it is really unlistenable and almost hurts your ears. I delayed putting it up partly because I was ashamed :(

Yeah it's always like . . .

San Pedro's? No?
Bricks? No, you work there.
Keystone? No, that's too far.
Figlio? No, that's too loud.
Perkins? No, too greasy.
West Wind? No, too dark.
Copper Kettle? No, you don't like their waitresses.
South Fork? No, too midwestern.
Anyplace that serves meat? No, you are a vegetarian.
Green Mill? No, you didn't like their commercial.
Sushi Tango? No, too expensive.
Applebee's? No . . . you just don't feel like it. What? Why? Okay, okay, okay, nevermind.
Do you want to eat in? No, you want to go out. Well, I am going to make a sandwich while you think.

Anticipated games the most of 2009

Dragon Quest V.

Dragon Quest games are really good!

And

Empire: Total War

Total War games are sooooo good. The addition of naval combat adds tons to the series. This is because Total War is about exploration and trade as much as it is micro-managing and battle strategy, making naval might really important. Naval combat, however, was always really half-assed.

Also the combat system is probably better-styled for gunfights than it is melee combat. I don't know why they didn't think of a game like this a lot earlier.
