In the new Prince of Persia, you cannot die, and you do not return to any sort of "restore" points. This, obviously, makes the game incredibly easy.

And that is why I fucking hated it.

But it is exactly the same as a checkpoint and reload system. It just doesn't reload and instead shows you an animation where you are deposited at the last checkpoint.

I'm now thinking how pathetic a sport American football is. On the level of sports suckage it is right down there with pro "wrestling" and figure skating.

Actually it is an incredibly complicated sport with sophisticated plays and a ton of strategy. It is the closest thing to a turn-based strategy wargame that a professional sport can be. Also, I don't know of a sport where player roles are more specialized than in American football. It's really very interesting!
