You know I would like for you to do an LP on my game Eternal... But based on the way you play I don’t know if you’d be able to complete it (the game is very hard). Besides I’ve only done the demo so far and I’d prefer to have the first act done. Then again based on the amount of games you still have to play It might take you a while to get to it.

wow...lot of rudeness in this thread. IMO, people should be allowed to configure their espers in any fashion they choose and not be discriminated for it. Whether they want to carefully min/max so they have the highest stats possible, consult a star chart to see whether Venus is in Cancer (And Ramuh is in Edgar as a result), or even try to have fun playing the game, nobody deserves to be othered for their video game choices unless they didn't kill ashley in mass effect, because I just learned in my soc 1010 class that racism is wrong.

I personally liked Crazes attempt to give more individuality to the characters in FF6. I do something similar in FF5 where I only allow the characters to have certain classes (Farris has thief, Galaf is a Blue mage ect).


As the article itself; I just think the writer is reading way too much into the game. He also casually seams to forget all the negative aspects that come along with having 14 characters (lack of characterisation for a lot of them, the fact that they are completely interchangeable late in the game).

Also, if I recall correctly FF8 also had the diminution of character classes and it was regarded as one of the weaker games in the series. The reason 6 worked is because it had a good story as well as solid game play.

I do agree with him though on making your villains into characters in their own right rather than just forces that move the plot forward. One of the reasons 6s story dose better than 8s is that Kefka is a maniacal psychopath and he makes sure you know it while Ultamcia is a strange German woman that comes out of nowhere.

Yes I know, but I thought I read that it was going to be postponed until they get more participants. Or was I mistaken.
