No problem, well I am one of those old RPG player from wizardry so what I think about challenge is very different ;).

I am not trying to argue but want to tell you what I think, it's about risk and reward when there is 50% (even less on bosses) chance of inflicting burn I would rather use a more damaging skills (even if inflicting burn would benefit me more in log run) Player usually does not try to solve the problem mathematically except if their life depends on it. So unless I feel boss would kill me without blind I would not waste my time to cast blind on him, or If it's very crucial that I act before the boss I wouldn't go out of my way to freeze him.

But the fact that you provided two difficulty shows that you care a lot for player so I greatly appreciate that.

For changes I suggest to test it on arena boss :P, it's optional so it can't cause too much problem :).
Oh another small bug, arena boss didn't give me the composite booster

LOL, that's quite interesting, Anku have 2 absolute damage (leach and wormhole) 3 group attack 1 for machines (plasma) and one for living (burn) and his main weapon deal plasma damage (it's damage is low) in the begining it does not have much to offer but when he level up he become quite powerful.

Darmek have a powerful group attack (in the beginning it's useful) and high HP (in the end he can survive to use enforce and strength for hero) and some elemental elemental attacks. to be honest I only used him for enforce and strength buff

Problem with difficulty is that weakness does not do much extra damage, resistance does not really do much either. and burn, freeze etc don't do much when you can inflict far more damage in the next turn (20000 * %5 = 1000 my hero do 3*1000 damage to all enemies) so I didn't bother with status, specially when the chance is quite low.

If you want to make the game more difficult don't decrease chance of being powerful (I had a lot of fun making the main so much powerful) but increase enemy power by increasing their damage (not health) so the player actually fear of losing.

I suggest you to work on resistance and weakness people like exploiting AI ;) the concept is there but does not work very well also targeting and hate system (if you increase the difficulty) can be very useful. Anku, Darmek and sarlene can become quite a good tanks

Another compliment is for the atmosphere I really liked it, the hacking mini game was fun (most of time I don't like mini games)

my thoughts: I liked variety and usefulness of skills but didn't like that some character were way more useful than others (anku, darmek, sarlene or telran and hero, most likely because of their powerful group attack) if the difficulty was higher other member become more useful (just don't increase difficulty too much or the situation would be reversed). also in the end I only used hero for damage dealing (feeding him all the stats make him damage dealer) the other 3 used enforce and strength and some back up skills and the party become irrelevant.

In the whole game I didn't buy a single armor or weapon since I could find all of them later I used all of my money for composite booster (naturally).


Conclusion it was a good game thanks. the only complain I have is difficulty even on challenging difficulty there was almost no challenge.

And one bug (minor), in hostage mission in rooms where there is a mirror and bathroom sink your can go right through them. (should I say collision bug? I am sorry my English is not good.)
