These are both really good points that I overlooked because I'm lazy, but since you mentioned them, I guess I should also mention that I agree. Especially on #2. I think people will be annoyed with that. Even the regular levels can be a hassle to get to in some of the galleries.

Arrghus has a black line at the bottom of his graphic. And picking up his projectiles is something I probably would not have figured out on my own.

I also agree with Hali about the waterfalls. They look like background objects here. They should function that way. The level would flow better (lulzpun) if you could just walk through them.

I hear that. Someday I hope to be well off enough that I can work less and have more time for my hobbies. In my current unemployed state, this is as good as it gets. I'm not exactly looking forward to the 'real' world. :c

Yeah the real world can be a pain. I tried to avoid it for a long time, but eventually I just had to throw myself in and hope for the best. It's sink or swim out there. And the less free time I have, the worse I feel about using it for things that won't matter in the long run.
At least this thing is almost done, so I don't have to worry about that.

Have you made any RPGs for the site?

I have, but they kinda suck. I'm responsible for the Pokémon Hunter series, which has enough good, bad, and nonsensical in it to be perfectly mediocre. I've been itching to do a revamp that takes them in a more original direction, but it's always been second fiddle to something else. *coughthis*

I've also been writing comics for an unbelievably long time now, and the storytelling in those has always been a huge perk for my watchers on deviantArt. Seems I have a knack for it. Anyway, I'm glad (and a bit relieved) to hear you liked it.


I made one crappy RPG several years ago. I'll never upload it because it's really just not good. But I'd like to make a good one someday. I just don't have the time to do it all myself, and I have less time as the years go on. I don't even have much time for this stuff anymore.

The fists are now a non-instant-death crush hazard and still deal no contact damage.

Due to my recent promotion and subsequent #@&%ton of procedural junk I need to learn, I'm going to be extremely busy over the next few weeks or longer. I'll still probably get everything updated this weekend because I don't have a personal life.

That game has TERRIBLE checkpoint placement. I downloaded it about an hour ago and haven't been able to reach a single one.

Thanks for the transparency, Hali. I'll consider replacing the music. As for the fists, I think putting spikes on the sides would just look awful. I'll either keep it as is or just make the whole fist harmful (except the top).
But nothing changes til I hear from the Desmo.
