Chipset ID

There are more Harvest Moon SNES chips than that as well. That is the town (and only part of it.) There is also the Farm, Barn/Shed, Forest, Cave, as well as Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall of each.

WIP is using Ika, btw. Not RMXP.

IGL: ika game library

No way, Holb. WIP said he FORGOT to put me in the database. I'm totally going to be the new Alex/Brian/Arshes/Aluxes

IGL: ika game library

Yes, yes it is. This is just going to make it much easier for everyone which I CAN'T ARGUE AGAINST. I love this concept. I wanted to get my head out of RMXP and into something more versatile, but Ika has always had a learning buffer that was a bit of a stopping block for me. I never know where to get started.

You missed GameMakerStudio.NET, VideoWizard.

Smash Brothers

I didn't get to play Melee much as I didn't own a gamecube until late and never bothered to pick it up. However, I did quite like playing as Zelda/Sheik and Young Link.

In the original, I was -all- about Link and Ness, though. I was da bomb with Link, so my friends often forced me to play as someone else (kinda like Nightmare in Soul Calibre 2 and 3), which was either Ness or Samus. Ness was just to piss people off, as I could stay in the air forever so unless you smash me out, I'd never ring out. Samus just because Metroid rocks.

I hope they make a Metroid into an Assist Trophy in SSB:Brawl.

And you are...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)

Steve Fidler. 21. Born in St Annes, England. Moved to Toronto Ontario when I was 4. Lived here ever since.

Once I graduated High School I went to Sheridan College to study Computer Programming. Left that course after a year and a half, as it wasn't quite what I expected. I am now entering the Architectural Technology course at the same college (starting September.)

I like to think that my specialties in Game Making comes through as Game Design (designing and implementing gameplay elements) and 2D Interface Design. Although I am a pretty decent coder and artist when the need arises.

My favorite games are Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Final Fantasy 12 and Crystal Chronicles (in that order.)

I'm pretty wide-spread in my taste of music, movies and literature. My two favorite authors are David B. Coe (Children of Amarid series) and H.P. Lovecraft. My two favorite movies are probably Pan's Labyrinth and Children of Men. And my ipod consists of Video Game remixes, Death Metal (Children of Bodom and Atreyu), Rock (Plus 44 and The Ataris), some smooth jazz and some Dance Dance Revolution music.

MMORPGs

Gadreel: Don't bother playing Vanguard or Starwars Galaxies unless it's to buffer your list. They're both very unimpressive. Galaxies used to be a really good game, but like most MMOs, it's at a point where its so old that you can't get into it and play at a competitive level like other people. Plus, like, everyone can be a Jedi now or something which is lame.

Vanguard just fell short of all the expectations people had for it, and as a result, there aren't too many devoted players to the game so it's hard to find groups once you get to the higher levels. Also, there are very few good, solid guilds to play with.

OR
Is it better without the shadows?

I think those shadows look ace. If you don't mind the extra effort, it looks like it'd be worth it. Best looking 'cosmetic fog' I've seen in Rm2k/3.

Lufia 2 XP Engine - Comments and Suggestions?

The arrows move just as fast as the game. Also, I'm not far enough to test the bombs.

I didn't change anything regarding RMXP's movement, if thats the movement you mean? I don't think I want to emulate the 'Rogue-Like' aspect of Lufia 2, where monsters only move when you act. I found that to be tedious and take away from the general intensity of being in a room with monsters.
