I always raise my eyebrows a bit when I see 9999/9999. Either someone's got no creativity at showing you what a powerful character looks like, or there's been a *lot* of grinding going on.

Neat. Not sure the style carried through in the lower res though. The other battle shot monster is a lot more clearly in the same style as the faces and shows off the art a lot more than this one.

Yeah, HUD appears to be from Mother 3, sprites from RMVX, and capshrooms from MSpaint.

Ah, don't fill it up..! Just make that hallway a tile or two smaller and you're set. It's not an overly large space anyway.
