I probably should stop thinking far beyond my capability...
The exact same thing happens to me sometimes with my game...
I believe the important thing is not getting discorauged. Perhaps If you really like an idea but find it too big for you right now, you could save it for a later sequel or different game.
Keep it up! Good Luck

Demo v0.01 taken down -- v0.02 soon to follow
UPDATE: Guess I was a little optimistic saying friday... Anyway... Just one more map, one more cutscene, refining the alchemy recipes and I think I'll have something a little better than last demo.
I've already completed 6 more maps than in the previous version, there's also a lot of new items, a few new skills, and slightly revised dialogue.
I'll post here when I have news.

OK... I think I fixed it now... Progress is slower than I thought it would be haha...
But no problem, better slow and steady than no progress at all, I guess!

King's Quest
Ok! Not too shabby first attempt, I guess...
I Just downloaded the demo and played with it a bit.
I chose to play as Sara.
A couple of things:
1. First, some maps are way too big with big bare spaces (the capital "City" and the overworld map come to mind). Moreover, I felt kinda lost in the city after exiting the barracks, not knowing which building was what and with no idea as to which direction the palace is. Perhaps you could add signs and stuff like that around the place. Also, the overworld map could benefit from including roads, I think.
2. Also, it confused me that the exits from some maps were automatic, like the stairs from the starting room in the barracks, but to exit some rooms I had to press the action button. I think it would be easier for the player if he only had to press the action button to open visible, closed doors.
3. When I reached Roltose, after going down the well and finding the grey haired guy, the game acted like I was Fallo and was with someone named Kali, even when I was actually playing as Sara... Don't know if that's a bug or I did something wrong.
There are a couple of other things, like typos and spelling errors here and there, but I think you will have time to polish everything.
BTW, I really loved the intro! The idea of the dead king reliving his memories and wondering what would happen after he's gone... I'll keep playing when I have some more time!
Keep it up...

Two things:
1) Wolves don't roar, they growl.
2) The house to the right looks like it was cut into two.
sorry, english is not my native language... It was named growl, I don't know why I changed it to roar... thanks, I guess...

This is Deralius, so the battlers are different. But what do you mean by transparency bug? The battlers look fine to me.
He means that the girl's tiara is normally white, but the white color is transparent for some reason, and so you can see the blue background behind it. Same thing with the horizontal stripes of the boy's shirt.
