You need to light up 3 lights to open the chest (that chest room also have the hint of the coloured puzzle, mixing those 3 colours creates that colour you need) which have the key for that door.
I believe you are missing a room with a locked chest. When you combine three correct colours that chest opens and it has the key to open that door :')

Could you give the list of party members and conditions + place to acquire them? Because this is a 30+ hour game and I don't really care about repeating. Also, when does the Arena begin in the 1st world? I am two Hunt Missions away from entering Chronix.
Bad/Neutral path have different party members, if you stayed in Good path your party members stay same. Zulwhern (or *spoiler party member*) is the only party member you can get in all paths.
There is an NPC in the Chronix mentions about Arena. It activates the Arena.

5 party member is the maximum number. But there are some conditions that make your party members different. For example: If you never visited Zulwhern's house at the first place you'll never get him, instead you'll end up with another party member. Depending on the karma path you take your current party members might change too.

Suikoden 2's Luca Blight battle.
You assign 18 of your elite fighters to fight with that monster of a human being. Like that's not enough your army of archers on the back fires hundreds of arrow at him. Even in his last moments, it feels like that's not enough to bring down that monster... I don't know how to feel about this victory, it was pretty scary.

Can't figure the password in the Egypt dungeon. I've tried every word in various language that means "life", the name of deity of life doesn't work either. Also can't enter the volcano, I wonder why...
You can't? Do you have the Dynamite key item from Qual's item shop?
