SBESTER'S PROFILE

I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.

Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)
-It's a secret...
Crime Opera II: The Floo...
The kids have grown up, and they're becoming quite dangerous.

I say leave it. Gives off that 'made in 2000' aura. Oh how I miss those days :(

Yeah, I played it once many years ago when the translation wasn't fully complete yet, and I didn't like it much. Same thing with FF2. However, I'm now replaying FF2 nes and liking it a lot better now that I have more of an idea what's happening. I'll probably replay FF3 again after I finish. (I don't have a DS, but I do want one for the Rune Factory games).

Final Tear 1

It just notifies you when someone makes a comment on the game, or if any activity is done on it by the creator.

GameNameGame - The generic fantasy game name generator

I'm not amused. I tried it once and got this:

Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden

That is an undefined class. They have high HP, and while other classes have specific spells they can acquire, those two have a very random learning potential. I like to think of them as healers who can occasionally deal the odd black magic spell when needed.

Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden DELUXE Edition

I definitely agree with you, although I'm not sure I could have implemented the EL2 demo properly without using the weak attack command instead of "do nothing". My hope is that it works a lot better for the second game, because you'll have a second character who (if you've chosen light class) won't be able to attack at all unless that command is there. However, I'm making it even weaker than in EL Deluxe, so that the hero is still forced into using strategy.

There are also a couple added bugs to the Deluxe Edition that I intend to resolve for the next release. Nothing major so far, just a couple screwed up monster graphic placements.

Yeah I wanted an ff4-6 progression for the next trilogy, however, looking through my ff4 graphics today... they just look like brighter nes ones. Perhaps I'll throw a few of them in this one, so long as it meshes alright. Guess I'll have to play around with it a little.

Resuming The Next Generation

Glad to hear it!

Indeed, I'm not so happy with the chipsets either. I don't think I'll be using them.
Snake has to go as well :( lol
