i LOVE the script that lets you type your name! if onyl all games used that that had custom names

in the mansion of maniacs you have music playing loudly and you fidn a music box that plays quiet.
seems pointless.
generic avatars and gear really kills any immersion you could have with this.

in the punkin palace there is a puzzle where you push boulders on buttons to open doors
the second one has 2 boulders. if you push the top boulder on the bottom bottom and bottom boulder on the top button it does not work
so the top has to be on the top,and the bottom on the bottom
how was chester and skullvane in front of you? the boulder puzzle was not solved yet
hell chester when he left you even went in the opposite direction
whats up with the dialog in the final castle?

General 1H 4M+ (based on my blind playthru)
hmm...what to say about this...maybe because i have played a lot of games and seen a lot of anime. the plot was fairly obvious early in.
and yet game play mechanics don't take that into account. (spoiler)
honestly the multiple endings didn't do much for me as it felt to similar. just slightly altered in what dialog you see but it kind of felt the same all around

Despite my complaints the game is...ok. its short so i would recommend it.

this plots going to be predictable i guess. a few minutes in you can assume your dead and your parents probably treated you poorly. its just a matter of finding out why
whats with the extremely fast ghosts?
the flowers do not appear in your inventory
this girl is weird. she casually accepts ghosts and ignores massive amounts of blood all of the place and manages to say. "i guess noone is home" O.O
i knew you were dead :D so wheres the magical explaination as to why you cant walk thru doors? locks should mean nothing :D
with maybe the exception of 1 special room/location sealed with a barrier.
its quite sad your own character never realizes she is dead tho until someone flat out tells her.
you know you best friend walking thru you among other things...
and if the friend is alive which at this point logically she is... why is she searching for your corpse outside when your body is inside a casket?
the normal and true ending also conflict.your grandma takes you directly to the room where Evelin is
so the plot comes down to 2 kids being stupid :/

those choices :O i worry about them. if they do not have a substantial effect on the game it would feel pointless.

the item system is quite unpleasant tho...you pick things up like a weapon or armor and instead of just being able to put it on you have to transfer it to your character first. i really hate this
please reduce the save slots nobody needs 999 spots to save
the mom is surprisingly mean. she acted like she was worried when you were going to be sent out then you go home and she is like go find your own food! that's just sad.
interesting that all gear has a limit on them somewhat like monster hunter weapons except they don't break just get dull and weak.
hopefully theres a smith to restore them especially if you get high lvl one of a kind gear at some point.
i really like how you can view all the stats on the equip screen rather then going to status!

the different types of XP is a interesting idea to learn skills and such
i still prefer if a characters class decided what they could actually learn. like your character not being a mage. magic at least high level at the every least should not be possible to learn.
not really fond of the days passed on statistics...same with how many times you save. its things we don't need.
the day/night system is great but those things are terrible.
warp (skill) is supposed to warp you to previously visited locations (you need to have been here at least once) but you can warp to say

This game should be finished but its not.and it has a fair amount of things that i dislike.i do not mind the time system but i do not like time passing on its own. it makes doing things a pain int eh ass and finding everything.
i hate the counter for days. the absurd amount of save slots.the scum bag nobles that think they are better then you...

the characters oddly accept it okay
but the experience?! o hell no! wheres the lvl 50+ characters!?
the awkward shift to enter menu but not to back out!
mixing 2 sprite types just looks so wrong. you have these small chibi guards and then normal sized ones o.o
but they are not gnomes or children o.o
encounter skip is gold! i love it! it makes this game ridiculously better!
the sign saying the name of Ashiee's town should be directly at the entrance
i love her town tho :D its cool how it is upgrading :D
dam...i would love to have a on call chocobo or better a airship :3
shared xp makes me so dam happy! i mean when that new member joins and they are around your lvl! :D

during the prison escape the battles were inaccurate. i mean you see 3 guards come at you but there is only 2 in battle

i actually missed them saying where the water shrine was. i recommend changing the kings assistants dialog to mention that.(after the cut scene)
honestly at this point (have all the crystals and going to sundi) i really do not see the point of them going to there own world.
i really don't there isn't a realistic need given the circumstances and how society is.

ifrits cudgel is a special one of a kind item but you can sell it? same with any other 1 only gear or key item
would of been great to warp back to the tower of eternity entrance when finished or better back to the elder.

since your heros aren't really heros...why the hell do you always have to stay there and let people make things inconvenient for you...fuck leaders kill them save w/e your saving and be done with it...always the dam hard way >.>

its funny how every time someones dying instead of using cure to help them or a potion they just let them die like nothing we can do o.o

only to reappear randomly in the cut scene when you fight him?
the developer is just plain cruel. we get another huge string of areas to get tot eh final boss. this was depressing enough as it is. but to add salt to the wounds you have to WALK BACK!
oh did i forget to mention the auto skipping text >.> we would like to read whats going on!
dam that was emotional! and unexpected in this game! but what happened to cassie!?

usually i avoid FFF games for many obvious reasons one of which is they suck...
people often tend to rely on the success of the actual series and it just fails...
this has a good amount of flaws but its the best finished FFF game i have played.

and if it wasn't for the encounter deny function without question i would not of finished this and would of dropped it. the game is just way to long to deal with random encounters for that many hours.

and the plot has a lot of holes which are even used as jokes in the story.

there is a considerable amount of gameplay time so you will not need another game for a few days-a week minimally
