yay, no more student loans \o/
Thanks :D yea, I know some people who have their loans for 10-20 years... but I have too much stuff I wanna do & to do it I can't afford to be paying big loans ;-;

Thanks everyone! Yea, student loans were stressin' me out for a while, they're pretty high-interest and debt makes me anxious... but I've been working a lot and saving money and now I'm free ^^
I'm pretty cautious about recommending college to people nowadays, especially since a lot of disciplines don't really need a degree;; Sometimes you just need experience & a strong portfolio!

RPG Maker developers who went on to produce games professionally
I've worked professionally! I've covered the gamut from educational to some cheap mobile stuff to some consulting... although never full time, so I don't know if that counts. To be honest, if I didn't start goofing around with RM2000 way back when, I don't know if I'd have ever even learned how to program :P
Anyway, yea, Nessy's working on Omori, the Shut Up & Jam Gaiden guys started in RPG Maker IIRC... there's a lot of well-known devs who started in RM, I think! It's a good tool for that :)

Entertainment is political, even if, sometimes especially if, you don't put anything outright political in it. The choice to not include something, whether made actively or by default, is a choice that affects the final result, and reflects on the creators, even if only a little bit.
Anyway, given Overwatch's clear drive for a variety of diverse characters, it'd be more surprising if someone in the crew wasn't gay.
EDIT: and fwiw being gay shouldn't be political at all, we just made it that way
