ANNNNNA <3
Anyway, I'm amazed how Mirror Boy doesn't seem to have a reflection skill... or does he?
Ahh yea, he has a bunch! A lot of his skills have to do with mirrors or light, and some with the idea of fear. I'm still tweaking a bunch so I didn't mention these, but he can learn Tiny Mirror, Mirrorcast, and Mirror Burst, as well as Light Bubble and Fear // Hope!

These look pretty cool! Do the characters gain more skills as the game progressed? Or is this it and players need to figure out when to use what move? There's great potential here, either way.
Oh yea! These are just a taste. Each character starts with four skills (Two Charge, two Unleash) and learns more as the game goes on. You can equip up to four skills at a time to each character, in any combination of Charge & Unleash.
Hmm, maybe I should write something about that next time! I probably could've mentioned it here. It totally slipped my mind.
Question: Does the collateral damage from Derek's Haymaker directly damage allies? Or does it hit their SP first?
Yup - it hits their SP! So, it's not too dangerous if you're in a good position, but if you've got allies in danger, it's a risky move. A few of Derek's more powerful moves put his allies in danger - he's just a little selfish.
So he Jabs and then Crosses? Sounds kind of infinite looping since they apparently lead into each other.
Yup! That's exactly how it works - it alternates between a low and high damage attack. There are a few skills in the game that work like this!
I'm Mirror Boy trash.
same
I've had a lot of fun doing these little blog-skits. I hope ya'll like 'em! There's gonna be plenty of scenes like this in the game, all sorts of bickering and dorky conversations and flirting~
GRS, kentona, Addit... Why do you all have avatars designed to murder people's eyes?
Oh my god, those are terrible to look at. They remind me of a pretty good gamepage tho...
Most people won't get the joke but ♥CazXLibby♥ for life!
IT'S TESTING TIME! :DDDD
substituting coca cola for alternatives, yay! do u have a soda addiction too?
Yeaaaa, same here! I've switched to drinking Coke Zero when I can, but... Dr. Pepper is really good ;__;
But yea, when I started cutting out as much pop (and beer) as possible, that's when I started dropping all my chubby adult weight :P
I still drink way too much coffee, though.

Sickening Article about Game Development and the "Wage Slave" Attitude
kentona pays me in gum
That pretty much sums it up for me. The dude starts with a lot of truths and then comes to the wrong conclusion each time.
also polygon quoted my scathing tweets about the whole thing //// whoops

Yeah, there are a lot of truths in the whole article, but they've all been twisted into meanings that I doubt many people, if anyone, could get behind.

Sickening Article about Game Development and the "Wage Slave" Attitude
Read this guy's piece earlier and it's really, extremely shitty. Worth noting, this is the guy who wrote DirectX and made a ton of cash working at MS in its early days. Maybe it was possible to get lucky working 120 hours a week back then, but even still - how many people don't get lucky? Nearly everybody else will burn out and switch to any other career that treats them with more respect. Crunch and overwork and low pay is not worth it and it's not what we should be encouraging, and artists have to eat just like anyone else.
Anyway, Rami Ismail of Vlambeer countered this guy better than I could: http://ramiismail.com/2016/04/an-inline-response-to-wage-slaves/
