Talk is easy!

This is exactly their point, these "new engine get ready to have your world ROCKED" posts appear frequently on tons of websites, and talk (and screenshots that show little actual functionality) is all we get, even from projects that show a lot more progress and polish than yours. As an engine programmer myself I honestly can't understand this compulsion to spend ANY effort on a project at such an early stage other than planning and implementing its functionality. It is just way too early to market it in this way and expect any response other than skepticism considering the ratio of vaporware to viable game making software aimed at ANY market, not just casual users.

That said, you have a ton of very challenging and rewarding work to do and I really do wish you the best on it :) but good lord don't expect us to see any value to our community in a tool that plainly offers none at this point.
